The location of Hotel Bajazzo made it very easy to get around vienna. The subway was a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The room was spacious for european standards with comfy beds and an outstanding bathroom. There were several places to eat at, all within a minute or two walk and a grocery around the corner.

Although the FAQ says they have no internet
connection, the staff said they had a
wireless network at the hotel, albeit with
limited bandwidth. However, we were not able
to see or connect to it, and they claimed
that visitors from the US and Canada
routinely have this problem, yet others do
not. Fortunately, we were able to sometimes
utilize another nearby open wireless network.

taxi for our departure.

The location was quite good, within easy
walking distance of the central sights,
restaurants, and cafes. While the room was
small (the spacious bathroom was nearly as
big as the main room), it was very
comfortable and more than adequate for our
purposes. The staff was friendly and most
helpful, the hotel was quite clean, the
buffet was plentiful and well-presented. We
had a very pleasant stay.

We arrived early after a long flight from Australia to find the hotel closed. It was 2 days after Christmas. We had to wait until somebody arrived to open up which was unpleasant in the cold. We had notified on booking that our arrival was early.

I would be happy to stay there again. It was a pleasant walk from the centre of town with plenty of public transport available.

Quite basic but comfortable, very clean with extremely nice and helpful staff in a quiet location about 15 mins walk from Stephensdom.
