Tiny room. plaster peeling off walls - needs painting & a good clean. ... the room without ensuite bathroom means a walk across the hall to tiny room with toilet/shower. very inconvenient. ... the hotel itself has character and is in a great location but the rooms are not worth the price.

Scandinavia Hotel is in need of a little updating. The pictures on the web site were accurate, but all the beautiful wood walls have advertisements posted on them making it seem tatty. The location is ideal and the staff very friendly. We didn't have bar soap in our room - when asked about it the staff said the delivery boat couldn't make it due to high water. We were there two nights and still no soap. ... Emphasise on how great a location for seeing all the sights AND ease of travel to/from airport.

my only complaint was the bed was of such poor quality i could sleep on only half of it, because it sagged so much!
