One negative was the shower output...It was boiling hot and then freezing cold, boiling hot, freezing cold...never a stable temperature. Not sure what was going on there...Other than that, the room/stay was perfect!!!

We took the water taxi to the airport and where we boarded was next to a five star hotel. The hotel employee there was very discriminating against people that were not from his hotel. I think maybe a new location for water taxis would be good...

The location was ideal...we were only there for two nights before flying back home and it was so nice to be right near St. Mark's Square and all the little shops all around. I was traveling with a strange group of family members/friends who could have fed pigeons for hours and had a great time. Cheap entertainment and good location for doing so. Also, the gondoliers headquarters were adjacent to the hotel, so that added alot of extra ambience to the experience. Our hotel room was a quad and was much nicer than I'd anticipated. One totally separate bed room and then a huge high ceilinged living room/tv area with bar and extra seating and sleeping accomodations for two. Nice spacious hallway and georgous furniture throughout. Breakfast room was very elegant and well run. I'd definitely go back!

We specifically booked a room with a terrace and didn't get one. We wanted a room with a kitchenette, but there were no dishes of any kind. So it was pretty much useless!
On the bright side, the room was beautiful, sparkling clean and the location, the best I've ever had

Beautiful, large and very spacious, the towels are big and fluffy and Heated! The location is remarkable, your practically in San Marco square. No noise at all if you closed all the windows, but really nice to leave them open to hear the gondoliers singing outside your window!

The family suite we had was spacious, cool and welcoming. We were very happy with the accomodations. The balcony was an added amenity. The staff was always cheerful and helpful. A wonderful stay.

We had no problem in getting to St Marks Sq, however once we were there it was difficult to find the right street from the square to the hotel.

Greeting was cursory & did not give details of hotel or breakfast available or any other services. I had to inquire after check in

Room was very nice & spacious and was better than I expected. It was very clean with sufficient towels & linens for the number of guests.

Upon check out I requested a water taxi to be called & receptionist stated she would get me the number in 5 minutes to find the correct taxi. After waiting 15 minutes I went to inquire & she said she got the number & forget to tell me even though I was standing right outside the entrance with my bags & she could see me

Very good for families & those that need a bigger room to accomodate more people. Extremely convenient for all venues in Venice.
You need to give better directions to get to hotel - we walked right past it since it is on an unexpected side street with no noticeable signage outside the doore from main street Had to ask for directions twice to get there

Our suite was very spacious, quiet, and right off San Marco's Square. Ideal location. I would highly recommend this hotel to friends and I look forward to returning in the near future.
