The hotel was in an amazing location and when we checked in, they had trouble locating our reservation and then, once they found it in their system, we ended up with THE room in the pictures online - the rooftop suite. It was absolutely incredible. The staff was very, very accommodating, even walked us out of the hotel and out into the square and across it to give us better directions to a restaurant they had reccommended. I will use only this service when booking anything in Italy and wherever else it may be offered in the world. I've never been more pleasantly surprised and pleased with the result of such a service. Thank you for making our 10th Anniversary that much more special!

Even though the hotel was not equipped to store baggage for the day, they graciously accepted ours and used their own bathroom and personal space to hold our luggage until our train left that evening.

Incredible. Definitely made the experience of visiting Venice worth a second trip.

It was a totally wonderfull experience. The accommodation and all the staff were exceptional. I will definately recommend this hotel and will return personally.
My comment regarding directions pertains to the fact there was no address listed on our confirmation and as a new hotel few people
had heard of it nor could direct us.

I have been to venice 6 times . My wife and I have stayed at different hotels every time we have visited there and I must say the Relais was just what we were looking for.The owner met us when we arrived and all of the staff was very helpful and truly cared about our stay .They also helped book side trips and even helped us with the train schedules.

This was our favorite hotel during our stay in Italy. It was the perfect, romantic location with very helpful staff. Also, it was amazingly quiet for being so near to St. Mark's square.

it really was excellent.we were very lucky to find it and your was the only listing for it on the venice hotel sites.the location and the service were first rate. I would never stay anywhere else in venice.

afantastic small hotel in a wonderful location. the rooms were excellent and the private balcony for room 41 was brilliant.The breakfast was excellent.If you are a bit frail it might be difficult to get up to the top room with your bags but it is well worth it.

Great location just off Piazza San Marco but sufficiently away from the usual San Marco hubbub to make us feel relaxed. People at the desk were helpful.
Rooms nicely appointed. The tiny rooftop 'garden' was wonderful. More storage space would have been good.
Would go back without hesitation.

Breakfast a little 'lite'. Does not correspond exactly to what was proposed on the document.
All supplement (mini bar) are too much expensive, including bottle of fresh water. Could be free regarding the price of the room...
A little negative point regarding the noise of all the air conditionned systems outside !

The staff were extra polite and helpful, according to the price the hotel was too small, you can expect more, from the images on the internetsite.(You imagine more space) Breakfast was not rich when you compare with the other european hotels and having breakfast in a room everyday was a little boring. the location is the best, however any location is fine in venice.

it should be included that the place is too small than it seems on the internetsite and you have to have your breakfast in your room(it's not optional)

it's fine, the location is ok but you can find better hotels for this price. It's not a big deal if you stay back streets of san marco place, any sestiere is near. first we think around la fenice or academy was far from san marco but when we got there we saw that those places were better to accomodate.

The hotel provides breakfast but they do not have a place to eat so you really must eat your breakfast in the room - only negative that we found. Great location and beautiful rooms but no breakfast area to dine. Would certainly recommend this hotel to our friends.
