I had to change rooms because i was given a smoking room initally - but they were extrmely accomodating and even gave me a better room than the first one. You may want to consider a smoking - no smoking box on your web site. Very nice place, pleasant staff and great breakfast - and location is everything. A ways from St. Marks but that did not matter because of the proximity to the train station and main public transport. Hightly recommend.

A little pricey - but so are other comparable hotels.

I had to catch a night train the next night and they were very accomodating - allowing me to sit in the small computer alcove and work on my lap top while they stored my luggage - no complaints. I will stay here again if given the chance and recommend it to others.

Just include somewhere that the person could have requested a non-smoking room.

This is a great Hotel, in a great location within easy walking distance of the train and bus station. An excellent base to explore the delights of Venice. Ask for a room overlooking the main canal.

Our room was exceptional in size and location.
Didn't realise that only a continental type breakfast was included as we paid extra for other items.

We had stayed a Hotel Principe a few years ago so we did not need directions. We did not inform the Hotel of our proposed arrival time so we were not expecting to be welcomed.

We enjoyed our stay. We think that the waiters and restaurant manager and the bar staff are very good, very professional but also very friendly and helpful.

The Hotel looked after our luggage for us and helped us to board the water taxi. If we had not already booked a water taxi, they would have willingly organised one for us.

The Hotel is very well situated on the Grand Canal. The rooms are comfortable and the staff are professional but friendly. The restaurant and bar is excellent. We felt at home. This was our second visit and we would go back again if we visit Venezia.

Well positioned on Grand Canal and close to train station and Scalpi Bridge. Good location waking and for waterbus, autobus and train. Easy access from airport.
Comfortable room and bathroom, spotlessly cleaned every day.

The location of the hotel was not what I expected. On Website it said ' a short stroll from St Marcus Sq'. It was a 35 minutes walk, or 30 minutes by water bus or a 50 Euro water-taxi. This was invonvenient because we were spending most of our time in St Marcus sq.

We were extremely disappointed with a recommendation made by the hotel reception regarding a restaurant (Gondoliere). The food and service were abysmal and we were surprised that the Principe would recommend such a restaurant.

A good place for a first time stay, but with a lot of group tours which was especially apparent at breakfast. The staff were very busy, but could not keep up with the demands of such large groups and, naturally, the service suffered.
