The staff who greeted us was very helpful and accommodating which is a warm welcome after a very, very long trip.

It was a perfect location for our needs. We were also able to appreciate the Dorsoduro district which wouldn't have happened if we booked in the St. Mark's area.

We stayed 7 nights at Palazzo Guardi and were very happy that we had chosen this lovely place. We were in the other building which is in an excellent location overlooking a canal. Dorsoduro is a little quieter but easily accessible to the rest of Venice. Our rooms were spacious and clean. The breakfast was good for a hotel breakfast, croissants, rolls, wide choice of yogurts, granola and decent coffee.

Excellent location. Quiet yet close to 2 vaporetto stops, Accademia and Peggy Guggenheim museums and great restaurants. Nicely furnished rooms, very clean and spacious. I would stay here again.

THIS IS THE PLACE TO STAY IN VENICE. ROOMS ARE A GOOD SIZE AND THE LOCATION WAS PERFECT FOR US. THEY GAVE ME FREE USE OF THE INTERNET.

Upon our arrival we were told that the previous guest who used our room had not checked out and left all their belongings in the room. The staff had taken all measures to ensure that the previous guests did not enter our room. The staff were very professional and put our mind at rest.

The only grumble i have is that the toilet seat had a large crack in it. It should be replaced immediately for obvious reasons.

We were delighted that the hotel was such a short walk from the Vaporetto stop and it was very eash to find. The hotel receptionist spoke excellent English and was very welcoming. He did not direct us to our room, but took us there in person.

We were very pleased with our stay overall. We would certainly book at the Palazzo Guardi again, both for the excellent value for money and the central location.

We were greeted very warmly and everyone was helpful and gracious. The room was very clean and had a great location.

Check in was fast and easy, and our passports were returned to us much quicker than in other locations. We felt at home immediately.

Wireless Internet, and Internet access in general, was not available, which was a minor inconvenience since this was in fact a working vacation for us, and we chose the hotel in part because Internet was advertised as available.

A free, private water taxi was available to take us to Murano for a glass-blowing demonstration at Vetreria Gritti. This was a very nice bonus.

Elegant, quiet, very large, comfortable, lovely room with a quaint view of San Trovaso Canal and neighboring church. Very conveniently located to San Marco, the Accademia. Friendly staff. Very good value - especially in Venice.

I've put 'fair', because this is quite a modest establishment, and the price was quite high, but probably it was par for the course in Venice

Breakfast was not brilliant, just OK. Might be worth putting in that some of the rooms are in the next door house, which was much more private - but meant going elsewhere for breakfast each day.

Reception and care friendly; no views, but quite close to a very good value Taverna (San Trovaso); clean, but not very lavish, though recently decorated. Despite the word Palazzo, it's fairly modest.
