Very nice, familiar hotel, top situated in center of venice, only 1 min. to go to marcus place. Rooms are nice, friendly, the breakfast with fresh fruit-salad and fresh fruit ... A place, where you can feel very good after a long day walking throug venice.

A friend had recommended this hotel to us and I'm glad she did. It is overwhelming to choose a hotel for the many available. The hotel Firenze was perfect. You can not beat the location. The room was spacious and the balcony wonderful. We would return here again.

Friendly, intimate, clean, wonderful hotel - and oh so close to Piazza St. Marco! This was my third stay there. There's no reason for me to ever stay anywhere else during future visits to Venice!

Yes it was hard to find,you get off at San Marco sq but there are so many roads leading off , that we had no idea where to go.We also didn't know that the hotel name was in the side walk and then you went down an alley and then found it. It would be helpful to have a walking map in Venice to show where it is

I would explain how to get there, and that it was clean and very nice.

our room was situated to a small street leading to Piazza San Marco. This street was crowded until midnight and so it was little bit noisy even when groups passed by.
But there are other rooms situated to a court. The staff offered to change the room. But we decided to stay.

There is a very good breakfast with fresh fruit salad and additional fresh friuts every day.
The staff in the breakfast romm is very politely.

it was very helpful for us that the vaporetto was nearby - it takes only two or three minutes from the hotel to the station.

The staff recommended 3 restaurants .
Two were very good -Venezia and Alla Scala
The other was very bad and should not have been recommended -Madonna
...
Better directions from the Water Launch landing site - especially since walking is the only option.

although it said it provided wireless internet, we couldn't use it and no signal searched. so we think that it should be problem with the hotel. we raised the issue to the hotel but the receptionist insisted it works and kept saying it's strange but not help to fix it.
also, we reported that the safe inside the wardrobe didn't work but no one to fix it. since we only stayed there for 2 nights, we did not bother to push them to fix it.
