Directions were simple yet it is important to follow carefully. Handy location, close to train and main water buses.

We were three in a room that was quite spacious. A/C was greatly appreciated as it can be very hot in Venice.
Breakfast basket impression is relative. If you eat a big breakfast you'd be disappointed. We were fine and there was an excellent pastry/sandwich place around the corner if we got hungry.

Monica of the Ca'Dario sent a further email with even more exact directions to the Ca'Dario. She greeted me warmly at the door and always had a hello and goodbye when I came and went. In fact, I found the entire experience quite pleasant.

I found the room clean and tidy, with towels and washcloths. There was a coffee/tea maker and each morning some rolls and butter to have in the room. The secluded courtyard entrance and the canal at the back made for a quiet and picturesque stay. Quite lovely, actually. The 'shared' toilet and bathing facilities were well maintained by the staff.

None, really, except it was all very efficient and easy. With a friendly 'ciao' thrown in as I left.

Some people have said the rooms overlooking the little canal are noisy, but I found the echoing voices and footsteps in the night mysterious and exciting. These things were not a negative for me, as I found it all part of the Romance of Venice.

Just as I have above; and I would recommend it The Ca'Dario is close to the train station and the bud terminus for easy ingress and egress into and out of the city.

The appartment was okay, but very moisty. This disappeared very quick when turning on the airco. The airco however stopped automatically after aproximately 1 hour and showed a fault message. Further our stay was perfect. We enjoyed your city.

Besides from the humidity in the appartment a good price for the quality offered. Clean, nice environment, etc.

Residenza Ca'Dario is a very tidy and clean accommodation with everything you need for a pleasant stay, including tea and coffee making facilities and a simple, make-your-own breakfast. The location is excellent if arriving by train as it is a very easy walk from St Lucia train station, even with your luggage. It is also easy to find your way back as all signs direct you to the train station. For the price (Venice is extraordinarily expensive) I would highly recommend this residence.

No reception staff were present when we arrived at 1.30pm and we had to leave early before they arrived the next morning, but there were no problems with the key or gaining access.

We arrived later than expected, and there was an envelope with our keys and a welcome note on the door!

We were so thrilled with the accomodations - we wish we could have stayed another night! If we were not leaving on a cruise, we would have surely stayed longer. The place is quaint, quiet, charming, and very spacious for the area. We could not have been more pleasantly surprised!

The rooms were nice, but the place was quite dusty. It might be helpful to have a front door mat as well. Overall the accomodation suited our needs though and we had a nice time in Venice.

A nice place with a good fairly central location in a nice area. Not luxurious but a good place for a group of people to rent with good prices. The reception staff were very nice and helpful.

It would have been nice to have someone around more frequently. Other than check in on the second morning, there was never anyone there that we could talk to.
There was also a fair amount of noise between the rooms.

There was no one available for check out. We had to leave the keys in the room unlocked.

It is a bit of a walk to the tourist locales. Be prepared to take a water taxi or bus frequently.
