The whole procedure ran quite smoothly. I was very happy with the accommodation and the directions were perfect.

The owner doesn't speak much english, but makes you feel welcome and allows you to leave luggage at the guest house on the day of departure if you need to.

Simple, basic, immaculately clean and perfect for someone not looking to stay in luxury accommodation. The location is only 15-20 min walk from San Marco. You get a good flavour of the back routes and non-tourist areas.

We arrived at the Hotel early but were still able to take our room, change and leave our luggage.

Fausto and Giorgio were very helpful and informative. Both had an excellent knowledge of Venice.

After checking out we were able to leave our luggage at the Hotel without problem and return for it later. Nothing was too much trouble.

Very easy to get to by water bus from the airport. Its in an ideal location to experience the delights of real Venice. Its quiet yet within easy reach of the main tourist attractions and restaurants. The staff were wonderful and we would have no hesitation in returning to this Hotel.

To stay at Alloggi Barbaria is like being at home. It is in a very quiet part of Venice only 10 minutes walk to St Marco, but that is the charm of being in Venice. You can wonder the winding paths and find something new each time you venture out. We loved staying here and are planning our next trip back already.

Extremely good value for money, clean, friendly and very good location for main sights, e.g. St Mark's and Rialto as well as other attractions. Excellent access to vaporetti direct services to Lido and Murano, Burano etc.

Staff was very friendly and everything was very good. I could not expect better. I would come back for sure.

My flight was in the evening, and as I did not have any place to leave my luggage at the staff was very helpfull and offered me to keep it for as long as I wanted to. So I still could enjoy my last minutes of Venice without worrying about my luggage.

The directions were great from the station and the map was very helpful.

We had to leave before 8AM and breafast was served at 8. Originally the owner was not going to make breakfast for us before 8 but in the morning when we were leaving he was up and made up a cappucino. A nice touch.

A great location and a welcoming host. Accommodating of my family (2 teenage daughters). Clean, comfortable, safe rooms 10 minute walk from St. Mark's square.
