Casa Ai Due Leoni was a peaceful sanctuary
away from the bustle of touristi in Venezia.
...
Close enough to all the vaparetto stops
needed to travel the canals, easily walked
from the train station ( just beware on a
hot day......) Quiet back street in a less
populated area of Venezia. Great room, nice
new bathroom, breakfast outside, all round
pleasant stay.

the place to be in Venice, not far from the centre but nice and quiet, drink a spritz around the corner at the bar al parlamento

Is was very positive the hotells. A bigger sign who show the way to the hotells on the wall could be better.

Quite a nice place to stay once we found it -arrived by airport bus and kept being told to walk in different directions by the locals. Big drawback was the breakfast - for Australians and those trying to eat healthily, at least - we like such things as fresh juice, cereal, yoghurt and fresh rolls or toast. The second morning I went to the supermarket and purchased such things. Could not eat the dry and sweet biscuits and croissant provided. Staff nice and helpful.

Realise Venice is expensive, but for what we paid we were staying five-star in some countries.

That bells toll very close at 6.30am in the morning. You can't afford a late night because you will be woken at this time.

Clean and reasonably comfortable, but you would not want to spend much time in the room. Nowhere to sit but the bed and television only had Italian stations. Bathroom was not easy to use - toilet was loose in the floor, shower in the bath - but ok. 2 and a half to three star.
