We had arrived earlier than expected and the host was very accommodating. We were shown the grounds (pool [with spectacular surrounding views], vineyard, wine cellar, olive trees, etc.)
The host was very helpful about places to go visit, that surround Poggibonsi, things to see while visiting city, and history behind it.

My daughter and I were pleasantly surprised how nice, clean, and updated, our place was. It even had a fan, which other B&B's do not have and are much needed. The pool was very clean, refreshing and inviting, while enjoying the spectacular views! Tenuta Il Tresto is breathtaking, tranquil, and peaceful.
There are also many interesting places to visit that surround Poggibonsi, that are worth driving to.

Check out was very simple and easy. Accepting credit card, which many other places do not, made it that much better.
I had also purchased at check out: wine, olive oil, and jams! Delicious!

We arrived early (2 -3 hours early). But the receptionist came soon after and helped us. The directions were confusing for us because we came via highway S429 rather than S2.

The location was quiet, the scenery was beautiful, the apartment well equipped with everything we needed for cooking, etc. Being so close to S2 made day trips by car to all towns and attractions in Tuscany very convenient.
We would have appreciated more information about the town of Poggibonsi - restaurants, sights, etc.

I really appreciated that the price paid at Il Tresto was exactly as quoted and included everything. (We spent the previous week at an Agritourismo where water, power, gas, cleaning, etc. was all extra and amounted to 16% over the quoted price.)

The road leading to Il Tresto is not paved and is pretty dusty.
The livingroom of our apartment has three huge windows, each framing a lovely view of the Tuscany countryside. The pool is well-mainatained and situated on a hilltop for fabulous views.

It would be helpful to have signs posted for the difficult turn up the hill but I understand from our hosts that the town will not allow additional signs. The map was very good once I looked at it closely!

No hot water the first morning but that was fixed after we complained. Also there was a sewer smell in the bathrooms and we had to keep candles lit at all times. Also the sheets on the beds felt very worn and not particularly fresh.

Budget accommodation overlooking the industrialised town of Poggibonsi. Centrally located to many Tuscan villages.

the appartment was poorly equipped - not even a cork screw or bottle opener! There was no room for comfortable relaxation i.e only a dining table and hard chairs. The linen was substandard and old. The bathroom was poorly equipped, shower too small. The whole appartment was old-fashioned and poorly furnished. The surrounding areas were rough, in parts dangerous and unfinished. There was significant rubbish and building materials lying around. There were not sun loungers or umbrellas by the pool and there was not a paved area around the pool - just grass/soil.

Steep steps up to all appartments, unsuited to o.a.p's. No safe play area for children. Overlooking an unattractive and busy town.

Further: the Tenuta is very hard to find in Poggibonsi. Once you know the way, there is no problem anymore.The navigation directions can be more detailed and exact. Suggestion: an exact adress for the navigator.

We expected a terras belonging to the appartment. There was only a general terras i.e. the grass round the swimming pool.But this was the only thing that was not clear from the description.

Very romantic, neat, quiet. Large but the capacity from the sittingroom is not for 5 or 6 persons. Kitchen funiture limited.
Location excellent: all interesting places within easy reach.
The place is not very attractive for children.
