Nice place at a fairly low cost close to the Lucca centre.

Our stay was very pleasant, helped by the very obliging staff. The kitchen was good too: we always used it for breakfast. Staff recommendations for shops, restaurants, etc. nearby were also useful.
It is a bit of a hike to the main part of town and the railway station, but do-able, and economical.

Friendly, economical, and with helpful and pleasant staff. A bit of a hike from the railway station and the old city, but easy walking or even easier by bike, which is very popular in Lucca.

Serena was extremely helpful, welcoming & informative.

Quietness was the only problem, for reasons not always within the guesthouse's control. The neighbouring building site was very noisy from around 8am during the working week although steps had been taken to deal with this & it didn't affect nights. A second room facing out to the bar was subject to noise from the bakers from about 3am! We worked around it but a little more quietness would have been good.

Clean, pleasant & with all the facilities one would require; fairly quiet; a straightforward walk into Lucca [although not a short one!]. Very helpful staff; suburban location.
