we were stuck because of the snow in the middle of nowhere so we arrived very late (at 23.45 in the night).We were received very warmly,although it was late.

A very nice,quiet,peacfull place,with a lot of space and style.the view is wonderfull and there is a nearby grocery in the vilage.

We had a Tom Tom which took us the long way around through lots of winedy roads and but Patricia explain the best way to go when we arrived.

Very quiet and beautiful surroundings. Weather was not the best when we arrived and the kids wanted to go in the pool which was quite cold. The pool was beautiful and would have been well used if the weather was warmer. Apartments were clean and well stocked beautiful bathrooms.

Beautiful quiet country stay about an hour out of Florence. Suitable for children and adults very comfortable and well priced.

The biggest issue was that we actually drove past San Leo quite a few times as we knew we were in the correct area, but they only an A4 size sign on their gate, making it very difficult to find the correct property

We did pay extra for a private terrace which our apartment, however it saw no sun beyond about 8am, this was disappointing as we intentionally paid extra intending to use this a lot, needless to say we didn't

Bizarrely there was an additional charge of 30 euros for cleaning (as standard), there had been no mention of this

The additional charge for cleaning and extra charges if you wanted to use a sun lounger. Check the private terraces, we paid extra for ours but it was in the shade after 8 am.

The place was fantastic, it is in the rural heartland of Chianti. The owner was very friendly and the setting could not have been better. It is well placed to get to the main tourist areas, and is perfect for lazy days by the pool.

Residenza San Leo was beautiful. It is a great value for the money, and is very relaxing. I would highly recommend staying there!

It truly was better than advertised, abnsolutely BEAUTIFUL!

The only thing about San Leo that left a bad taste in our mouths was an invitation to a dinner. The dinner was lovely, but it was only on the following day that people were made aware that they were expected to pay for it. It seemed like a bit of an odd business practice.
...
It is an absolutely amazing place. I was doing an architectural tour and was saddened that none of the architectural sites outdid the pictures that I'd seen. On the other hand, San Leo was far better than the pictures of it.
