The room was beautifully decorated, but very small and with simply no place for suitcases place for suitcases or storage.

I had booked a superior room. The room was extremely small and had only one chair. We requested a larger room and were told that none were available with a bed for two.
Also, we were advised that the room was air conditioned. However, the hotel did not turn on the air conditioning even though we requested it.

We were initially overcharged. The price was reduced to the stated price after we complained.

You should state that the rooms are very small and that the air conditioning is not always operating.

Very clear signage in the area meant we
didn't need to use the map much. The
receptionist ensured we had somewhere to
leave our car and made arrival very easy.

outdoor area, which is magical and quite
breathtaking.

We upgraded to a junior suite as the deluxe room was exceptionally small. The junior suite was a little larger and okay for one night but not big enough for more than a weekend. I had expected the room to be a little larger than they were.
We did not recieve the welcome drink.

this was not of usual 5 star hotel standards. dinner was average, breakfast was poor

I definitely would not recommend it as a 4 or 5 star hotel. It was very over-priced.
I would however say that the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Of all of the hotels we stayed at during our stay in Italy this hotel was my bigest disappoitment. I believe the rating should have been a 4 star and not a 5. I felt that for the cost it just didn't give us the feeling of a five star hotel and some of the other hotels that were listed as a 4 were better.
Sorry but I will not recomend this hotel to any of my friends.

I was not told we would have to pay for the cost of parking and for a five star hotel I thought this was excessive.

I would say that it was clean and nice but too overpriced.
