Directions should have differentiated between the Pietrafitta the winery and the hotel. They are near each other.

The only minor comment - and this is being very picky - was the breakfast was limited and the same every morning. After a week it was a bit monotinous.

The place was fantastic, the views spectacular, the location idyllic and the room and bathroom beautifully decorated. It was the ideal location to wind down and relax.

The stay was great. The house was a little
musty, as we were the first to stay there for
the year, I think. And the site and our
confirmation said we would have use of the
fireplace, and the property manager would not
allow its use. Other than that, we had a
great time. They were very hospitable.

The grounds are impeccably kept. We couldn't
believe we had the whole yard to enjoy wine at
sunset. Perfect!

Include in the instructions to check with the
wine lady at the bottom of the hill before
going to the top of the hill to check in. It
took a few readings of the email voucher to
understand that.

The property required maintenance. Water to the kitchen sink was a dribble only. we had to transport water to the kitchen from the bathroom. This was reported to management , however, no repairs were carried out. Ligthing also required repairs in the living area.

The directions should have been given from other directions than the autostrada.
We did not notice the Reception on arrival as this was not clear. The key was given to us, but there was no explanation about anything in the appartment.

There was nothing to open a bottle and no telecommande for the television. Noise could be heard from the adjacent appartment.
I did not realise until afterwards, but we were overcharged for the use of the swimming pool for two people instead of one. (25 Euros)

The road is a dirt, fairly uneven road to the property.

That it was very nicely situated, very attractive, but rather expensive for what it was. Also that I feel that use of the swimming pool could be included in the price.

As the office was closed on saturday afternoon at our arrival we had to find someone who could tell us about how to find the house we hade hired. Then we did not hear anythin from the office until it was time for us to pay for the visit and depart.

We hade no idea that there would be other people living above our apartement. We thought we hade hired a single house we no other apartements. There were disturbing noise from above during early mornings, as the people living there were employed at the farm. We hade do dish all the equipment in the kitchen before we used it, glasses, plates and so on. Not clean. The cleaning of the house, floors, was not very well done either.

As we had a couple of accidents, for example failure in the electricity and water leakage we hade a 200 Euro discount, which we found very acceptable.

The things I have written above, that there can be disturbing noise from other guests.

It was a charming old stone house fully modern on the inside with large rooms and two very big bathrooms which we appreciated.

Quite surprised to find there was no restaurant in the podere!

Better if they have their own restaurant and private tour by the owners at the vineyard
