Noise from the street is a little bit disturbing when staying outside the hotel.

- well situated between Lucca and Pisa
- very nice hotel with a special privat athmosphere
- very nice people (reception desk, porter, service people in the restaurant) -> the kindest people of the four hotels we had during our stay in Tuscany!
- garden and pool was very appreciated!

We were escorted to our room. The staff was quite accommodating.

Our room was on two levels--a sitting area below and bed and bath on an upper level. The bathroom was very ordinary, although it did have a separate tub and shower. I had expected the property to be more quaintand was disappointed in the room.

Very quick check out. Our bags were brought down and loaded in the car by two maids. My husband felt a bit awkward having them load the luggage.

To get to the Locanda coming from Firenze, and leaving the motorway near Lucca, your indication ss12bis/rad is nonwhere to see.

The property and accomodations were wonderful, and as expected. The website should be more up front about the fact that although the grounds are beautiful, they are right on a very busy highway so that spending quiet time outside in the grounds is really not possible. It's too loud outside.

very sweet. not very knowledgable about places to go and restaurants.

very beautiful place...the restaurant service tried to be very upscale but the wait staff was hard to communicate to in English.
