We were treated like royalty. We were made to feel as though everyone was there to serve us.

The breakfast was delicious.The staff even made arrangements to have breakfast ready early to accomodate those who were checking out prior to normal serving time. Everything was incredibly clean. There were special little amenities like shampoo, refrigerator with soda and water, and free internet access.

positive - the train to Florence and to Venice, (top tourist spots) is just 6K away with good parking next to the train station. Arizzo is a fabulous place - not so touristy but with great little restaurants and areas to stroll.

Use Hotel Le Capanne as your home base in the Tuscany area. Catch the train one day for Venice, another day for Florence. The scenery is incredible. Don't forget to stroll around Arizzo in the evening and eat at some of their delicious restaurants. Enjoy the wine and food and the beautiful accomodations and staff at Le Capanne.

No one was present when I tried to check in. Only late in the afternoon did someone appear. The property is beautiful, serene, totally updated. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was delightful; both service and food was tops! I would recommend this to everyone but I want to keep it a secret!!

Better driving directions would help. It was difficult to find, and the roadside signs helped more than driving directions.
