Carpark instructions for arrival were confusing.Carpark numbers had changed- we were looking for Number 1, but it had actually been changed to Number 2. Other than that directions were OK.

Large bedroom in a very well kept and very homely premise. Furnishings were lovely, typically Tuscan. Rooms were very clean, bathroom cleaned daily during our stay.
Building was very quiet- didn't hear any noise and all rooms were full when we were there.
Breakfast very satisfying.

We arrived later than the stated 'check-in' time, but were able to find check-in assistance as stated on the web-site. We were shown where to park (outside of the city wall), and shown to our room (inside the city wall).

The room was clean and quiet with a window view of a private garden. We felt secure since the front door of the building remained locked, as well as the door to our room.

When we arrived a few minutes before official check-in time, we found the door locked but it was immediately opened and we were then checked in.

It was a very quiet location with a spectacular view from the window and the roof-top.

The staff originally thought the stay was prepaid. We were allowed to check out and leave our bags for a few hours. When picking up our bags, however, I was told there had not been a prepayment and asked then to arrange payment, which I did.

The perfect honeymoon location in a quiet but interesting walled-city where getting around is easy because of the small size.

Just one complain: the check in time was restricted until 7 pm. We thought it was more flexible.
