If you would like a true Tuscan experience, a good location to tour from, a beautiflu location and a great staff then this is a great place for you.

Reception waited until 1:00 a.m. for our arrival, even though normal reception hours were 9-6. The effort was most appreciated. Directions say to exit at Valdarno, but there are four Valdarno exits on A1 (we learned after we got lost). Instructions should be more specific regarding exit. Location of resort in Loro Ciuffenna should be more specific. It is not that big a town, but the resort is 'tucked away', and I was very dependent upon kind residents to point the way.

The outside of the resort is more beautiful than I can describe - absolutely incredible. The room was as claimed - simple but nice. The on-site restaurant was really excellent and had very reasonable prices - so good and so reasonable that we ate there much more often than we had expected.

The price for our room was in my opinion very appropriate, but the restaurant is priced better than competitively, raising the overall value substantially.

This is a wonderful, peaceful retreat away from the hectic pace of city life. The sounds of the waterfall are very peaceful and soothing.

We arrived 15 minutes before the reception closed. It would have been nice to be informed about the reception open hours, so if we arrive late we could make a phonecall and inform the reception at Residence La Ferriera.

A nice residence close to a friendly, quiet and local village. With nice atmosphere and few tourists.

Even though there was no one to welcome us when we arrived. We found someone from the restaurant to register us in, give us our key and show us to our room. Simona was very pleasant and made us feel at home.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Residence La Ferriera. Our apartment was tastefully decorated and very clean. Also, enjoyed dining at the restaurant. Food was absolutely delicious. Simona was very kind and helpful in providing tips on visiting the Tuscany region which made our trip very memorable.

Should let your guests know that sound travel especially when apartments have adjoining walls which was the case for apartments #8 and #10. Unfortunately, we were told by guests in apt. #8 that we were making too much noise when in fact we were just talking.

Residence La Ferriera is a beautiful place to stay when visiting the Tuscany region. Location wise, it is a close proximity to many wineries and small quaint towns. Apartments are quite large, tastefully decorated and very clean. Restaurant offers fine cuisine with many selection including wines.
