I got a sinus infection just before arriving. The manager took me to the docot's and the pharmacy and the staff prepared hot milk and honey to help my throat. Both offered without being asked and much appreciated.

I would recommend staying at Il Colombaio B&B because of the location (beutiful country side in Tuscany region), the friendly and helpful people (went out of their way to be helpful) and the accomodations (all as expected and very clean).

Beautiful place, and they provided a very helpful booklet about all the attractions nearby (of which there are plenty) and how to find them. Very atmospheric. Breakfast was ample and both hosts very nice and friendly and speak good english.

A hire car is recommended as it is along walk to Rosia the closest village. but there is an excellent restaurant 500 meters from Il-Colombaio

It was a very nice an relaxing stay at Il Colombaio. The landlady is a very nice and helpful lady. We enjoyed it very much and I'll stay there again.

It was even possible to use a great kitchen. Very comfortable and nice house, very clean.
