The property was excellent. The view of the valley the out door space for having a bottle of wine and some cheese and crackers is ample and in fact that is exactley what we did. Great experience.

Everything was correct on the web sight. Maybe you should say that the property is only a 5 min. drive to Greve in Chianti which is what we wondered because we wanted to go the the Wine Festival and just lucked out with the location. It was great...

A beautiful Bed and Breakfast in the hills of the Chianti Wine region. You can see grape vines everywhere the property makes you want to be outside but when you are ready to go in your room you will melt in your bed and the guest areas are absolutly Fabulous...

Charming property. Very clean. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff even though language was a barrrier at times. Great location close to a number of interesting sites. Also close to Florence. Magnificent views of the valley and surrounding countryside from the patio.
Would definitely stay there again.
Highly recommended.

Angela was there to welcome us. Although her english was obviously very limited, she was able to show us around and also advise us where to find the nearest laundromat and supermarket.

It was an absolute pleasure staying here. The views are amazing and we certainly enjoyed the fact that we could dine outdoors on our own private terrace.
At times, it was a little noisy if guests were staying in the apartment upstairs. You can hear them walking around above you. However, this was not enough to be a huge problem. We liked it at Podere Il Casello so much, we extended our stay.

As we were leaving early in the morning, we finalised our account the afternoon before.
Our hosts made sure we had an early breakfast before we left.

Angela was happy to make bookings on our behalf at local restaurants and trattorias.
The supermarket called Coop in Greve is only a 10 min drive away and is very good.

Wonderful place to stay. I could never tire of the beautiful views. If you have a car, it's very central to all of favourite tourist spots.

Very nice apartment in the heart of Tuscany with a great view of the surrounding area. Good access to major cities such as Florence and Pisa yet located in a very quiet setting that was great for relaxing. Several smaller towns close by for shopping and experiencing the culture of Italy. I would highly recommend Podere Il Casello.

great scenery and the breakfast is very good,but unfortunely the swimming pool cannot use during our stay.

We had no problem with our arrival experience. Babbett(sp?) was wonderful!

Julia and Babbett (sp?) could not have been more wonderful and accomodating. Julia gave impeccable directions to each destination we asked about. The fresh baked croissants for breakfast were wonderful. We had so much fun at dinner, and ,of course, the meal was fantastic. We could not have asked for a more pleasant stay in Tuscany!

We did have to wait for Julia to arrive to check us out, but the wait was pleasant due to us getting to know a Belgium family a little better.

Fantastic room and property, but right next to
a very busy road so lot's of traffic noise if
you want the window open.

It would have helped if there had been some basics for self-catering apart from plates, pots and pans, salt and pepper for example. Having Breakfast provided was great. The mosquitoes were bad and plug-in insect killers would have been a nice touch. Instead,it we really the bare essentials, but the apartment was great and the location excellent.

We had stayed at Il Casello in the apartments previously so knew more or less what to expect. Under new much more friendly management, however the price had increased from €110 to €130 per night in 12 months and breakfast was an extra €8 per person per day where previusly it had been included. We were advised of this when booking so no problem, just not very good value. Helpfulness and friendly atmosphere made up for this!

Beautiful views, friendly place to stay. Handy for the bus stop. We would probably recommend staying in the hotel itself rather than an apartment as it would probably be cheaper.
