We felt positively at home here! We were well taken care of by the attentive staff. An added bonus was the wonderful restaurant at the Albergo Casalta. The food was spectacular! The village of Strove is very small and you you see and feel the 'real' Tuscany here.

Very friendly manager, willing to help with enquiries and rooms were cleaned to a high standard every day. Views from bedroom window were excellent.

Could have mentioned that there was a local useful and very friendly co-op in Strove just 3 minutes from hamlet but otherwise very good.

Easy to use, clear, and very prompt service. The use of photo's was very good and not misleading.

A medieval hamlet, very peacful local experience that was an ideal change from Florence and other busy main city. Ideally located for travelling to all the main destinations in and around Tucany eg. Sienna, San Gimigano, etc..

I was a little disapointed to go a room with 2 seperates beds instand of one large bed for 2.
May be the choice 'Double Room, Standard' should be more specific...

Mostly the room and property of Albergo Casalta was as we expected from the description on tuscany, expect the bathroom that was extremly noisy because of the air evacuation.
The beds were not as we expected (seperated instead of 1 large) and were barely confortable.
Hopefully we stay only 1 night that's why we did not mention those problem (bed, bathroom) to the staff.
But if we had to stay more, we would have ask to change of room immediatly...

The village where Albergo Casalta is located : Strove, is very nice and typical in the countryside.
It is a nice place to stay. There are walks to do in the area, and a nice restaurant just inside the hotel.
The staff of the hotel was polite and welcoming, and everything was clean.

I have already been at the Albergo Casalta many years ago. But it lost quality. The shower cabin was extremly small.

There is no staff as such, the owner and his wife run the place.
...
It should be made clear that Albergo Casalta is situated in the village, and is not a self-standing building as some of the pictures seem to suggest.
