everyone we encountered at Scott house was courteous and helpful. I would stay there again and reccomend it to others

the bed was comfortable and the room clean. the noise from the street could be heard but was never a real problem. we realized it was a busy area being near Termini station

as we had never been to Rome before we didnt know what to expect compared to 'western' hotels. there is a huge difference between Europe and the U.S. that was not a negative thing for us as we enjoyed our stay very much. the room was spartan in its furnishings and some westerners may think its not presented accurately in the brochure. we had no problem with what was provided.

Congratulations for the housekeeper!she has made up our room with very kind details like in the toilet for instance:)For my that I am working in a 5* hotel in barcelona,is very important to take care of these litle details. Very very professional!congratulations again for this kind of service:P!
(the only bad thing I have found, was the shower. There was not enought water preassure and as a result to take a shower was not as confortable as actualy is.

Scott House worked very well for us. Its proximity to the train station was optimal as well as our ability to walk over SE Rome from the hotel. the people who worked there were also great and we appreciate it.

There was a mix up however we were compensated by only being charged at a double room rate rather than a triple.

The a/c did not work properly, consequently our room was like an oven. Also they would turn it off once you left. You would have to phone them to have it turned on. A real inconvenience after spending a hot day sight seeing in Rome.

Don't book tours, especially walking ones with the receptionist. You can get a better deal yourself by just showing up at the places of interest.

This was an excellent cheap place to stay. It was clean. It had a window. It was not noisy or smoky. It seemed safe. The location was perfect for all forms of transportation. It was near good, cheap food. The bathroom facilities worked. The employees (except for the fellows serving morning breakfast) were most helpful, courteous and informed. I travel a lot to Europe 'on a budget'. This is probably the best hotel for cheap I ever stayed in which includes hotels all over Europe. I will sure recommend this place to others.

the property was not as nice as on the website but not a bad place. very small bathroom.
the older front desk gentleman was very nice and helpful and had cute dogs.

adequate accommodations, clean, has an elevator to the room.
small bathroom; minimal 'character'.
good location close to the railroad station.

reception & housekeeping staff were all very nice/polite/helpful all the time...
but the staff at the breakfast room were always in a grumpy mood...kinda makes one feel so unwelcomed for breakfast each morning!

Although the area was not great, the rooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable. The tv's did not work though.

The location isn't that great; it's by the train station and a good walk from all the sights. It is also noisy at night if your room is on the street side. But the rooms are very nice and comfortable and most of the staff is knowledgable of the area and can speak English.

Regards Quality of room etc. All of this was very good except for noise level. The particular room I had was located near reception and there was a lot of noise until late and then again very early in the morning.

It should state that smoking is not allowed anywhere on the floors occupied by this Hotel.

there was no key for the save in the room.
there was no telecommunication for the television in the room, so you must use the beth to reache the television.

the staff was helpfull, and give us a reduce for the creditcard-machine that was damage.

On arrival, we were put in a room with
two separate single beds. When I told
the receptionist that it was stated that
we would have a double bed, she did not
want to give it to us at first because
there were not many of them. I told her
that our voucher states that condition,
and then she gave it to us.

The property was fairly clean, but the
shower was unbearable. The water would
alternate between scalding hot and
freezing cold and was nearly impossible
to have a shower without scalding
yourself. The air conditioning was not
working.

We had money taken off of our bill to
compensate us for the water and air
conditioning issues.

A hostel type hotel, in a seedy
neighbourhood that does not offer the
amenities it says it does.
