Good value for money = relatively good value for money. Rome is an expensive city and many hotels are overpriced. I don't think you'd get better than this for the same money elsewhere in Rome, considering location etc.

This was a great place! They let us check in early! Large rooms, breakfast directly to your room. Everything was wonderful and they were ver accomodating.

The staff were excellent and the room was quite nice. My only complaint was that we were given the room behind the front desk which was a little louder than I would have liked. I don't know if that was b/c we were only staying 1 night or if b/c we got such a good price on the website.

The concierge was wonderful about calling me a cab and letting me wait in my room until it arrived. Very thoughtful.

It was a bit confusing for the cab driver to find on the way there from Termini Station. V. specific directions or landmarks would be great.

An adequate double-room given to us after complaining about a few problems with our originally-booked triple-room.

Helpful staff. No major problems after the initial change of rooms. Basic breakfast, served to our room (no cheese, no meats, more like an American continental breakfast). Quite a bit of noise from the breakfast preparation area, early in the morning (this problem affects only a couple of rooms)

Fantastic location. Helpful staff. Minimal city noise. Air conditioning quite adequate for September & October, probably for summer as well. Basic breakfast (no cheese, no meats). Less expensive than other hotels in the area, which makes Palazzo Taverna a real find. Overall, a good hotel, not perfect, but I would definitely use it again.

the single room i stayed in was very small compared to the doubles and the window was only leading to a dark yard with the next wall about a meter away. so best was to keep the window closed. in this room you can only sleep, that´s it, since their was not even a chair and i had to eat my breakfast while sitting on the bed.

there should be a note, tat the single rooms are not half the size of the double rooms and you can hardly more than sleep in them - well if they are all like mine was...

nice place, very well situated and tastefully decorated, good bed. but don´t book a single room there!

With two adults and a teenager, we expected a large room with an extra bed but got instead a small apartment in the back of the building. It was suitable, clean, and attractive but something of a surprise when compared to the rooms posted on the website. An excellent piccolo colazione was delivered to the room - the staff was very helpful. FYI: The apartment could use a night light, door mat to keep dirt from tracking onto the bare floors, and a wastebasket.

You should comment on the apartment if it is to be booked for clients asking for a large double.
