We had made arrangements with the Hotel to have someone meets us at the airport and drive us directly to the Vatican Museum for our tour appointment. We had very little time between our arrival and tour time. Everything went perfectly. We were met at the airport and quickly transported to the museum and our bags were taken to the hotel. We were so grateful! Thank you - the efficiency gained with website/email communication provided by Worldby made it possible. ... The concierge was so wonderful. We were traveling with family that prefered casual dining - we were directed to two excellent restaurants for dinner, one of which my husband and I revisited on our return to Roma on our way home. The hotel bar was open late and we enjoyed excellent wines after dinner one evening. The restaurant at the pool was excellent and the pool area beautiful and refreshing. ... Everything was as agreed. ... The rooms have very recently been redecorated and were beautifully appointed. The woodwork was incredible. The bathrooms were spacious and well appointed. ... Wonderful - I am going to try to take my parents there later this year.

We didn't use the driving directions since we took a cab.
I'm not sure what you mean by was somebody there to welcome us. Somebody was at the reception desk.
The hotel was very beautiful, everyone was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was wonderful.
Thank you very much. ... All hotels in Rome seemed extremely expensive so I'm not sure how to answer the question about value for the money. It certainly was no bargain but it was as I expected and comparable to other hotels in that price range.
At check out there were mini bar items on our bill that we didn't use. They promptly took off the charges but I wonder why they were there to begin with. ... The pool was a fabulous asset, especially during the heat wave and more beautiful than I expected. ... Yes. But a person would have to be willing to take a cab to get to the center of the city. We were willing due to the pool but in the cooler weather, the pool wouldn't be such an attraction. Most cab drivers however did seem fair and consistent. Some started their meters rather and unfairly high.

I could not work out because there was no heating available in the local. ... This is a great place to stay... quiet with a marvelous sightseeing and environment. A little bit far from the active areas of Rome... but if you are willing to walk this is worth since the place is beautiful.
I would definitely recommend to go there.
