We did not arrive untill 10.45pm, young man at desk was very friendly and helpful. Showed us to our room explaind how the TV and air conditioner worked and supplied us with maps and directions. I thought it was a nice feature to be able to keep our own room keys when we went out.

The pictures on your website gave a very accurate description of the hotel. Excellent and safe location, very easy to find, only 2 blocks from the entrance to the Rome Termini and main metro station.

Breakfast was served in your room at anytime up to 10.00am. Excellent coffee and packaged pastries just enough to get the day started. Luggage storage was available just round the corner for 2 Euro a bag, suggested by reception desk they even give you a small map to find the location.

I would highly recommend The Palma Residence to anyone that requiers, a quiet, clean, friendly and safe central location for sightseeing in Rome. In our three days in Rome we did not have to use any form of transportation.

I didn't expect it to be in an appartment block with a little buzzer to let you in... it took us a few minutes to figure out where to go... but probably tells you more about us than the them

Confusing because Palma is at the side entrance of the stated address. As in most accommodations of this nature, there is no signboard stating the name of the place except for a business card stuck on the buzzer - so look out for that.

The location of the residence is excellent. Guide books mention that the accommodation around Termini are sleazy. However, Palma is located on the Via Marsala side of Termini and it is in a very nice part of the Termini area with nice restaurants and the convenience of train, metro and bus transport.

The breakfasts offered with the accommodation were very good - fresh breads and pastery, home made jams, fresh fruit, a variety of fruit juices, and of course - excellent coffee.

The only 'negative' comment is the fact that the room faced onto a busy street which tends to be quite noisy until the early morning hours - even with the windows closed. I must say though - the Italians certainly know how to enjoy themselves.

Palma Residence has a great location situated very close to Termini station which made getting to it very easy from the airport. The room was small, however it was very clean and had everything you would need for a couple of days exploring Rome. I feel it was great value for money.

When we arrived we were given 2 rooms for one of our nights stay. As we were family the girl was very helpful in sorting out the rooms, and the next day she help us move into a room for 4 that we had booked.

Maybe it would be a good idea for guests to bring a travel kettle and cups to make your own tea or coffee if you are back early from sightseeing, and just want to put your feet up.

Make sure that you have cash to pay for the room upon arrival. I later realized it was in the paperwork that they did not accept credit cards so it was our own fault, but, we had to run around looking for a bank.

The only thing we did not have working in our room was the safe. The walls are very thin, but, this is not a place for really young people to stay so it was not an issue. The room was kept immaculately clean and everyone was very helpful. The area is nice with a lot of restaurants around. Being on this side of the train station was wonderful since it is quieter and has a more residential feel.

There is no direct street enterance to the Hotel. You need to go through a locked gate then to a further locked gate to contact reception. We needed to use our mobile phone to get eventual enterance.It was quite a process. The signage could be improved to make the Hotel more obvious.

We found the staff to be very helpfull and polite. The room was very clean, however very small. Breakfast had to be eaten in the room however there was no real room to accommodate this.

A few blocks from the train station is a lovely apartment building. Rooms were clean with a comfortable bed, air conditioning and television. The bathroom is more spacious then most Italian restrooms. The staff was friendly and helpful.

My stay here was as expected. The previous reviews were really helpful as i didnt find difficulty in finding the place which i would have otherwise. The location (near roma termini)is perfect and room was clean and tidy. If you cant stand noise than this place is not for you as although our room was the furthest from reception, we could hear people talking. Otherwise this is the best place for the price you paying. 24 hrs, great location, friendly, helpful and honest staff, i couldnt ask for more.

It was nice and warm reception. The room was clean and neat, with sufficient clean linen and towels provided.
The property is one of the floor in an apartment building. However the impression one gets from the website is that it is a stand alone building. We therefore walked past the hotel a couple of times before realizing our mistake. May be the directions could be made more crisp in the website.

Unser Aufenthalt in der Palma Residence war sehr angenehm. Das Hotel liegt unweit vom Bahnhof Terminal in einer ruhigen Nebenstraße. Unser Zimmer und das Bad war sehr sauber, die Matrazten gut und das Personal jederzeit sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
Wir können das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen. Auch fast alle Sehenswürdigkeiten kann man sehr gut zu Fuß erreichen, durch die unmittelbare Nähe des Bahnhof Terminal ist die An- und Abreise völlig unkompliziert und stressfrei. Da das öffentliche Verkehrssystem in Rom völlig überlastet ist, waren wir froh den Vorteil der zentralen Lage des Hotels zu haben. Allerdings ist es abends in Bahnhofsnähe nicht besonders zu empfehlen noch auszugehen. Auch die Preise in den Restaurants sind überhöht - wir haben nach anfänglichen Erfahrungen solche Restaurants nicht mehr aufgesucht, dessen Personal uns schon vor der Tür abfangen wollte. Empfehlen können wir uneingeschränkt die Pizzeria Secunda(um die Ecke der Via Varese),hier kann man sich selbst bedienen, es gibt leckere Pizza und Pasta zu fairen Preisen (alles frisch und appetitlich) und das Personal ist sehr nett.(ist was für Leute die keine gehobenen Ansprüche an die Lokalität stellen und nicht über den Tisch gezogen werden wollen) Wer in Bahnhofsnähe was zum fairen Preis sucht ist hier genau richtig, wir haben jedenfalls nach anfänglichen Enttäuschungen über Preis und Qualität des Essens in anderen Lokalitäten die Pizzeria zu unserem Stammlokal erkoren.
Wir wünschen einen schönen Aufenthalt in Rom und hoffen dass die Tipps nützlich sind.

We had some difficulty in finding the place due to its location and not a big enough sign on the ouside of the building. We finally found it after asking around. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
