A bit difficult to find and notice as it was only identified by the buzzer.

Room was clean, neat and provided all elements advertised. Bed was rather hard, and some fittings in the bathroom were lose, even so, everything functioned and was clean.
Breakfast was simple and overall satisfactory. One day out of four we had a stale brioch, all other days it served our needs. (It was by no means an extensive menu but for a budget B&B it was fine).

Checking out was efficient and polite. Not all receptionists had a clear grasp of english which lead to some issues and this led to a reduced capability of tour and visitor recomendations.
Customer service could be improved. Location is good as it is a brief 10-15 minute walk to main sights.

How to get there and what to expect. I.e. it is in a close, just of one of Rome's Main streets. It is more of a flat that has been turned into a 'hotel' but this does not detract from its clean, tidy and efficient appearance.
Only one channel on TV (not that your their for the TV but it is advertised)

The location is very good for exploring Rome.

A small but friendly hotel ideally situated for exploring Rome on foot and within walking distance of the main station. I would recommend the hotel to a friend.

Your location was perfect for using public transportation, and in a quiet location for restful nights. The rooms were not large, but adequate. The breakfast was a joy to wake up to! The service was always cheerful and helpful. There is a market about a block away which was wonderful. The rooms were clean and the value excelent.

The accomadations were somewhat less than expected, but certainly adequate. I am not familiar with B&B's in general, but the rooms could be a little larger (though I don't know how you could do that!!)

Well located, friendly staff, clean and more than adequate plus a good breakfast to start the day. A great value for the money.
We had friends staying in a fancier hotel that had no breakfast, a noisey location eith vobblestone alleys charming but difficult for older ladies to walk and a less than friendly front desk AND more money!!!

Very friendly, with a good location for seeing the major sites in Rome. Out of all the places we stayed whilst travelling around Italy, the Morpheus was undoubtably the best.

It would have been helpful if the details online had mentioned that the hotel was on the 4th floor of a building and that there was a very old unstable looking lift that we had to go in to get up to it! It was fine for us but i can imagine a lot of people being very nervous of it and perhaps dissapointed when they arrive.

It was a lovely place to stay and we thoroughly enjoyed it but i have to say the online information was slightly misleading with regards to access to the building (as mentioned above) and the brakfast service was very limited. This didn't ruin our stay at all so i wouldn't say it was 'worse than on the website' but not exactly like it either!

definitely the fact that it is in a shared building with other hotels (we were walking down the street looking for a seperate hotel so it took a while to find!) and defnitely that it's on the 4th floor and has a tiny lift that really isn't suitable for more than 2 small peopel at a time!

Authentic, friendly, cosy and conveniently located. Good value for money. Great place to stop over if you are out and about all day and just need somewhere clean and convenient to sleep.

Our stay in Rome was amazing. The location of the hotel was central enough that we were able to walk to the Spanish Steps, Trevi among many other beautiful piazzas within 10-15 minutes. The room we had was fairly simple, yet clean. I loved our big windows which opened out, typical of Europe. We're not big breakfast eater, but the breakfast served was quite nice. The staff were friendly and were readily available if you need help. We also rented a Vespa for the day and toured around the city and saw parts of Rome from a different angle... bella Roma. But not recommended if you're a nervous driver, because Roman drivers have no patience for tourists drivers whatsoever.

The Hotel is just one floor of a tall building and is therefore difficult to spot from outside. It would be helpful if visitors were warned to look out for more obvious landmarks in the street to pinpoint the location.

It was a very nice room for the price that we payed. Our only complaint was that the room was very loud at night while we were trying to sleep. We could hear the front desk and the buzzer from down stairs.

The directions for the hotel were wrong, but
we still managed to arrive at the hotel.
The directions said to take a right on Via
Palermo, but you actually have to take a
left to get to the Morpheus.

The room we stayed in was VERY tiny. It would have been nice to have one of the other rooms that weren't as small for the money we paid. But the staff was very friendly - so we really enjoyed our stay because of her.

I was almost switched into a tiny room that was behind the main desk with no privacy but when i requested otherwise they were great and swicthed me right away.

your breakfast is delivered to your room when you want between the hours of 8-10 and that is great.

We thought we were getting a king sized bed it was a double. The room was not very big, enough room for the bed and maybe a foot or so on each side of the bed. The breakfast consisted of two small buns, juice and coffee and jam. It shouldn't be called a bed and breakfast. Sheets and towels weren't changed every day. The pictures on the site made it look like the room was bigger than it really was. It was close to the attractions but I wouldn't go back.

The bathroom had a small square shower, if you were a big person you would not get in. I would have liked a bathtub as well as the shower.
Did not like it when I could smell people smoking at the front desk!

Check out went fine. Everything was as stated in e-mail before we arrived.

I would not recommend it to a friend, if I was a friend. I guess coming from Canada I expected better but was disappointed. We made do because they already had our credit card # and we were too tired on arriving to look for something else.
