We liked Hotel Martini... It was centrally located and easy to find. The management was helpful and friendly. We thought all the hotels in Rome were too expensive for the quality and Hotel Martini was in line w/ the rest of the properties we looked at. The service was more than adaquate and we had a good time in Rome.

I would reccommend Hotel Martini, but warn my friends not to expect too much for the price, as all hotel rooms in Rome are overpriced. I felt that the hotel was probably more like a 2 star hotel, compared to hotels in the US.

The hotel is close to everything (wonderful), but it is very noisy (especially the rooms on the street) and the bathrooms are tiny (like a walk-in wardrobe).

The bed was hard and the breakfast buffet was basic. However this was as expected so no disappointment. The hotel was clean, and quite and in a central location, and for Roman prices was good value.

Considerable delay (45 mins) in taxi from train & driver not aware of Martini location, so dropped us off on wrong side of Via Nationale - and charged 35 euros for this !

Early departure for Ciampino and hotel arranged taxi on time for pick up and at 45 euros for 40 kms - much better than our 35 euros for Terminale to Martini on arrival !

Suggest better description of location in Via Nationale, plus explanation that hotel is on 4th floor. Proximity to church would help new arrivals to find Martini.

I emailed the hotel to ask about transport from airport to hotel. Was told that taxi was best which it was when you have not been to Rome before and they were very kind to arrange and book one for us at 50 eruo but the coach going back was only 6 euros.

Staff were helpful and very polite would stay there again because it was so central.

The hotel is really in the center of rome, so it was a little bit loud, but finally it was a wonderful stay at Hotel Martini. I would chose it again.
BUT: I forgot to say that the mattress of all of the beds are a very old. They should be replaced / renewed!!!

The card reader for my visa card didn't work so I had to go to a bank to cash some money.

The small living room is wonderful. Thanks a lot to get the possibility to use it!
There's are 3 banks and a super market next to the hotel. Perfect!

We found the staff to be both welcoming and very helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Our expectations were exceeded. We would recommend hotel Martini to anyone. we found that we definately received value for money. We would return to the hotel for our next holiday to Roma!

The hotel is perfectly located in Rome with easy access to the train station and all the sights. The hotel is small, friendly and very clean. Even though the hotel is situated on a main road the rooms are really quiet.

On the fourth floor, with a rather aged lift that four of us did not feel very safe in together and could only accomodate one of us with all our luggage.
But not a major problem. The walk up and down stairs was a healthy experience for us 50 something year olds - might not be so convenient for 70 or 80 year olds.
The water in the shower room was not always hot.

The hotel is actually at the top of the 4-floor building, with an old, manually operated lift that takes a maximum of 4 people on a good day. On the positive side, being at the top of the building is definitely quieter than being closer to street level.
The breakfast area is very small, which can lead to delays at peak times.

A lot of street noise. Would have appreciated a fan to drown out street noise and provide air circulation. Room got really stuffy overnight.
Great coffee and croissants. Juice not great.

Once we found the front door and rang the bell for entry we were fine.
