When I ordered in the WEB site I ordered B&B. For some reason the hotel had me reservation as Bed Only and said the price was quated for bed only. Eventually, in the interest of keeping the customer happy, the hotel owner agreed to the price with Breakfast. I was pleased by that.

Couldn't find the hotel due to the building and scaffolding and general work that was occuring around it.

The staff were especially helpful and polite - it made the stay really enjoyable.
Rooms were clean and tidy and the quality was what you would expect for a 2star hotel

Staff allowed me to go on line and reserve my plane seat (boarding pass) with BA. They converted the euro equivilent of the cost of the stay to Sterling whic attracted a good rate and made the cost possibly a bit cheaper

Need to have clearer signs to the hotel and because it is on the first floor, some signification as to this fact and location before you enter

In the middle of a busy city - excellent location to the main city attractions, very warm and friendly - a clean and suitable 2 star hotel - and will be looking to use holtel again

Wish the map on the web site was a little clearer (better resolution). However, now once we've been there, it's easir to understand the location.

The room looks much more spacious and brighter on the pictures than it is in real life. Other than that we were very pleased with our stay.

Good value for the money. Very convenient location. Rooms are a bit small; however, that did not matter to us because we had no intentions on spending much time inside anywyas. The hotel overall is very clean, staff are very friendly and all speak very good English.

The best time for Australians to travel to Rome is in the Australian summer. The rates are very reasonable. It is better to go directly to the hotel and book accommodation rather than through an agent.

It is a lovely hotel. The staff treat you like a long lost friend. The manager/owner of Hotel Guliana makes the best coffee. The best prices are in the European winter, yet the amount charged is more than reasonable for the service. I would be happy to stay here again and again.

Good walking distance from train station, convenient for Rome tourist sites, quiter than most other locations in that general area, good breakfast provided at a good time in the morning. Slightly expensive for that class of hotel, but worth the difference.

Good location.. easy walking to important venues in Rome. Close to the Metro if necessary.
Room was dark because of scaffolding outside the building, but relatively quiet at night and very clean. English channels on the TV were good.

Should mention that soap, shampoo and towels are all provided, since not all Rome hotels do so. Should also include more details on the breakfast, so guests know what to expect - that it features fruit, cereal, yogurt and prepackagaged pastries, and includes freshly made tea, coffee or cappucino.

I cannot say enough about the wonderful staff of Hotel Giuliana. On our second day in Rome, a thief copied our bank card number and emptied our account. The hotel staff could not have been more genuinely concerned and helpful. They let us use the computer to check our bank account, they explained the cheapest and easiest way to make a call to the U.S. and they even sent one of their own staff to the bank to act as our interpreter. And that staff member then went above and beyond of his own accord, taking the time to lead us to the police station despite being off-duty at that point.
The day-to-day service was equally impressive. They made dinner reservations for us, got us tickets to the Museo Borghese, made excellent restaurant recommendations and generally accommodated our every request promptly and with a smile.
And the location is ideal - my husband and I walked everywhere, and even the Vatican, far to the west, only took us about 30-45 minutes to reach. Everything else - the Colesseum, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Villa Borghese - was only 15-20 minutes away.

There is no number on the house to advise how to find house number 70. But there is a hotelsign on the house so after a second look we found the door with out problem.

The personal helped us a 110% with tipps, answering questions and could even tell us from where the bus left as we needed to go back to the airport.
We could leave our luggage our last day in the hotel after we checked out.

Very friendly people, the rooms are clean and nice. Good beds. No aircondition but ventilator. Close to everything but not so closed to the spanish stairs as we thought from the beginning. 10 -15 minits to walk to Coloumseum, the stairs and the inner city. We never needed a bus or train during this weekend. 5 Minits from the railways station, fairly easy to find. We were very satified, you should go there!

The Hotel Giulana staff were wonderful. They provided assistance in booking tours and offered advice on shopping, dining and touring. I had lost my luggage on the flight to Rome and staff at the Hotel were very helpful in making phone calls and retrieving my bags.
The one factor that I appreciated the most was the proximity of the Hotel to both Termini and some of the major attraction of Rome.

My stay there was great. The hostess was wonderful, the receptionist exceptional. However, I have to say that if I did not meet the hostess in front of the hotel entrance door, I would think I've been mistaken. There were no apparent sign indictaing the name of the Hotel. My advise to them is to hang a welcoming board that people can see to be certain this is the place, then following signs in the entrance hall to direct customers to front desk.

A quiet good hotel easy to reach from termini by foot and close to the old part of rom. The staff is very friendly and polite. Organisation - check in/out, payment was very good. The room (single) was clean and renovated but very small, especially the bathroom. It is necessary to close the door of the bathroom before getting into the shower cabin.

Room was supposed to have a mini bar and air conditioning (although we were aware that we would have to pay extra for this) but it did not have either. The room was small, smelled bad and we was filthy i.e. a thick layer of dust and grime on the telephone etc.

The most adorable service, like staying in the family. Only negative issue was the quality of breakfast. There was no fresh bread or croissants available. Also the rooms were a bit noisy, but I assume that's the problem all over in Rome.

Specific directions from the train station to the hotel would have been helpful or a clearer map with street names. If paying in cash, there is a 5 percent discount on rate, which was nice.

The staff was very very friendly and arranged for transportation to the airport and double checked times etc....My only criticism was how hot Rome was and if they are going to have no air conditioning...perhaps a ceiling fan...or fan...Other than the exceptionally high heat in Rome...the stay was great!

Parking is a problem for someone arriving in a car. The street is restricted.
