My son was sick when we arrived and they allowed us to check in early so that he could lay down. I REALLY appreciated that.... and so did my son!

The rooms were small, but most rooms in Rome are unless you pay premium for a plush hotel. We had a private bath and beds for all. Exactly what we paid for. My only surprise was the tile floors and small room size. Noisy too....trafic all the time. Oh ~ and the tiny B&W tv, though we didn't watch much tv because it was in Italian...

Danielle at the front desk was the single most friendly and helpful person we met in Rome. He was very accomodating and HE alone would be my reason for returning to the Giada Hotel. My husband did not get to go this trip.... so he & I will be going back....

Rooms are not carpeted, they are tile floors.
