Great location within walking distance to most attractions. The apartment was great for my family of 2 adults and 3 children. Area in which hotel is in is clean with nice shops and restaurants around. For my family this was value for money as we would need 2 rooms everywhere else.

I loved Hotel Gea and would stay there again. The staff is warm and friendly. Our suite was clean but situated near a noisy street. However, we were so tired that we did not have any problems sleeping at night. Location is great for good area restaurants, an ATM machine down the street & walking to area sights. I would highly recommend Hotel Gea!
Be careful at the bank. I encountered a man who looked like a businessman who I suspected was a pickpocket! He was too friendly and wanted to know if I was going to use my credit card or cash for currency exchange!

Once you get through the main doors off the via Nazionale it would be useful to have a clear sign giving guidance on how to get to the reception desk at the hotel (i.e. through the iro gates).

Great location as close to the main railway station which means you don't have to cart luggage across the city. Yet still close to the main sites and shopping areas. Very good value for money hotel.

check out was quick and efficient and the staff were more than happy for us to leave our bags at reception while we went out into the city prior to returning to the airport

I would describe the hotel as a well run, friendly, family hotel, offering great value, clean accomodation in a good city centre location. I have already recommended the hotel to people and will hopefully return myself some day.

We booked a ride from the airport (Fiumicino) to the hotel. After a long flight, it was a real treat to exit customs and immigration, and see their driver holding a sign with our name on it. This is more expensive than taking the Leonardo Express train, but is well worth it when tired from the flight. We saved our energy for touristing in the afternoon.

The Continental breakfast buffet had a good variety of foods: croissants, pastries, yogurt, fruit, toast, cold cereal. We especially enjoyed the 'Kellogs Extra,' which I cannot find in the USA. It was filling and provided the energy we needed for a morning of walking and sightseeing. Their coffee, however, is not up to the usual Italian standards.

Good location, good value for money. An Onda-Blu laundromat (6 Euros wash&dry-you fold) was within reasonable walking distance on via Cavour. The only things we would have liked to have had were an in-room safe and heated towel bar (which we had in other three-star hotels in that geographic area).

neighbourhood has a post office a bookstore an
internet cafe a dry cleaners and a metro
station all within a block each way of the
hotel so very convenient.

The only criticism I had with the hotel was there was no tea and coffee facilities in the bedroom which I would have expected in a 3 star hotel.

We had to vacate the hotel at 6.30am and although when we paid the bill the night before we were told some breakfast would be left for us none was available. The night porter kindly gave us a cup of coffee each.

Nr 2: do you mean in the hotel of at the staion (the last: nobody, but I think that was not included, so no worry).

The breakfast was good but there were not many choices, perhaps that is normal, but not if we compare with lets say Ibis, there one could choose from een smal bufet.
The service was friendly en correct, en that counts also, even more than the breakfast. The place was to small to make a great choice, I think the smallest room of the whole place.

A fine place to be, friendly people, en nearby all the interesting places. Also near the main station (Termini). No need for bus, metro to reach the hotel.
