Very friendly and accommodating staff! Great location and beautifully appointed rooms.

This is a hotel with lovely rooms, small but decorated with 'old world' charm. The staff is the best we have experienced anywhere in the world and it felt as if we had made new friends! This is a great location, centrally located and within walking distance from major attractions and shopping.

We had to identify the B&B by address, as there is no sign saying Domus Livia.

We were a little late checking out, as I had walked to the train station to get our rental car, and that took longer than expected. The staff was OK with our being a few minutes later than 11am for check-out

UThere was confusion about breakfast i beleived breakfast would be served at a restaurant over the road or near, however a minimal breakfast was served in the room. Not really satisfactory but ok.Also the was degree of pressure to pay in cash by the 'boss' however this was indicted tyo me at any stage. I paid by credit card which was accepted but not the preferred chicoe. These needs clariity.the receptionist were most helpful and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Its difficult to find as there is no indication that it is a small portion of a much larger building complex. it took a lot of time to discover the small name tag on the intercom which indictaed domus livia. I think instruction to get there need to be a lot cleared to stae what you are actually looking for. the main hotel sign was actually Hotel Miami

The taxi met us at the airport as arranged by the hotel, much appreciated.The room was well heated and extremely comfortable.

We have already recommended the hotel to friends who will be staying in Rome in Mar 09. Should we visit Rome again we will most certainly stay in Domus Livia. Breakfast was in the room!!

Again the hotel had booked had the taxi which was on time and took us direct to the correct terminal.

The accomodation is most central to all tourist amenities. The service is perfect in all respects.

The room was lovely and exactly what we anticpated, very good value for money, although the option of taking breakfast at a nearby cafe (as advertised in the details) was not available. Breakfast in room was very basic and the only negative (also no english speaking or music channels on the very swish flat screen TV)

Very helpfull staff
spotless & tastesfull very good size rooms
Lift to 5th floor where rooms are a little old, only used it to go up!
Overall very good quality though breakfast a little basic!

Domus Livia is very goog, peacefull place to stay in Roma. And there are bus rotes and metro near and it is easy to use them.
Staff was very helpfull.

WE WERE A LITTLE SHOCKED BY THE OUTSIDE APPEARANCE OF THE HOTEL & THERE WAS NO SIGN FOR DOMUS LIVIA ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE BUILDING OTHER THAN A CALL BUTTON, BUT WE FOUND IT & THE INSIDE WAS VERY NICE ONE OF THE BEST FOR THE TWO WEEKS WE WERE IN EUROPE.THE STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY & HELPFUL, THE BREAKFAST WAS NICE BUT DUE TO OUR EARLY MOURNING SCHEDULES WE ONLY ENJOYED ONE FOR THE THREE DAYS WE WERE THERE.

AIR CONDITIONER WAS EITHER TOO COLD AT NIGHT & THEN WENT OFF AUTOMATICALLY AT 4 AM WHEN WE NEEDED IT THE MOST IN GETTING READY IN THE MORNING. wOULD RECOMMEND THEY GIVE AN INSTRUCTION SHEET AS TO HOW TO OPERATE THE REMOTE CONTROL.

Susan is a gem. She helped us with directions. She was there every morning to wish a cheery good day. The resturants she suggested were outstanding.
The room was clean and the breakfast good. We will take other friends there.
What a good location! We WALKED to everything in Rome downtown!!!

We can believe on such a busy street the apartments were so quite.

We paid cash upon our arrival. We did not want to carry that much cash around. We also had a late flight back to Brussels. They allowed us to store our luggage there. They offered us a hospitality room to refresh in before our trip home. We were very happy with the whole experience.

Located on the 5th floor of a very large building. The friendly staff helped with any questions and gave recommondations on where to eat that turned out to be great. Very quiet and comfortable. A/c included. Breakfast is served in your room. Bottled beverages are available to you. We bought water every morning. The staff made us feel like family. It made our Roman experience a wonderful memory!!

We enjoyed our stay at Domus Livia. location of the hotel made most of the sites accessible by either walking or the nearby Metro.

The property is lovely, well-located, quiet in an active area of Rome. The staff was delightful, and provided maps and tips on restaurants and sights which were excellent. The room was very comfortable and well-designed. We truly enjoyed our stay and would come again!

My wife and I found that Domus Livia was exactly what we were looking for, while visiting Rome. We had a super time. The staff was friendly and it was in the perfect location.

It was a quick walk from the Metro station. Upon our arrival we were greated by the friendly receptionist and given a thorough introduction to our room.

A lovely quiet place to stay after the hustle and bustle of the Roman streets. The accomodations were exactly as they described. Elegant small rooms, great shower pressure, relativly comforatble beds, powerful airconditioning unit all at a good price. The location was excellent! The breakfast was more than plentiful and the room had a small refigerator which was a lovely added convience.

Good location. Very clean and comfortable. We were very pleased with the accomodations. It was very quiet also. Some may find that not having someone available 24hrs a day may be an inconvenience but it wasn't a problem for us.

The b&b did not have a buzzer on the outside of the building. So it was unclear as to where exactly it was. We had to go into a hotel in the lobby and they called someone else to find out what floor the b&b was on. The porter let us in eventually.

The accomodation was very comfortable, clean and warm. I felt not having any staff available during the day to speak with was a negative. As you did not have anyone to ask general directions, give advice on restaurants etc. But overall it was a good experience.

I responded to an email request twice from you all that asked for my flight info and whether I wanted a car to meet us at the airport and take us to the hotel. In my two emails I said that I wanted the car and got a response both times that it was all set.
However, when I arrived in Rome, there was no one at the airport to meet us. I called Domus Livia directly from my cell phone (at my expense) and they said they never received the answer that I wanted the car. The woman also said this had happened in the past. So she sent the car and it eventually arrived, but it was a hassle.
There is obviously some sort of communication gap between you and the properites that you need to look into.

Their breakfast could be better. It was small and the yogurt was not good at all.

The rooms advertised on the website stated King Size beds, however on arrival found that the King Size bed we expected was 2 single beds pushed together - not happy about this.
