We were greeted pleasently and professionally. Our bags were brought to the room, saving us the trouble after 12 hours in the air.

The Domus Julia was a quiet and restful hotel. It was centrally located, near many sites of interest. Public transit was within walking distance and provided access to most other sites.

Quality of room was not as good as expected but it did meet our requirements. During room servicing they forgot to replenish toilet paper. Linen could of been better quality.

Problems with credit card processing. Due to operator error, 3 of our credit cards were declined. Only after our request for another operator to process the transaction did we have success. Telephone call rates were expensive compared to other Italian hotels we stayed in.

The entrance to the apartments is dark and the light-switch does not always operate correctly. Overall the room was of good standard. Good security door.

As we arrived early the staff checked us in and provided us with coffee and ensured that the room was ready for us as quickly as possible.

Staff were brilliant, very friendly and helpful in some instances beyond the call of duty.
The room was much more than expected size wise it was very clean and comfortable and noise free.

The Domus Julia is a delightful hotel in a fantastic location in easy walking distance (ie minutes) to major sights. The hotel is very clean and quiet, staff are exceptionally helpful and in our opinion there is not a better place to stay for the location, cost and cleanliness.
We know that there are better and classier hotels however for us it was perfect.
Highly recommended will definately be returning.

We enjoyed our stay at Domus Julia very much. The accommodation was very attractive and the location (a quiet street in the city centre) was ideal.

They like to clean the rooms around 9am, so if you're a late sleeper, I would mention it to the front desk. They would knock on our door early, and ring the room to wake us up. Not very nice for late risers. Other than that, it is a great place to stay, within walking distance to everything.

This hotel is in a terrific spot -- a short
walk to both Trevi fountain and the Spanish
Steps. In fact, I even walked to the
Collesium and the Forum with no trouble at
all. Staff were polite and helpful. I'd
definitely stay there again.

Excellent location, very helpful staff. Air conditioning was not functioning well, which meant it was uncomfortably warm for sleeping, but otherwise we were very happy with the facility.

I can't remember if the mini-fridge was mentioned, but that was useful, and the washroom looked brand new - would be worth mentioning. Also nice to have a sitting area outside the room where you could play cards, etc. - I can't remember if that was mentioned.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend, it was within walking distance to all the main attractions in Rome and the rooms were clean, tidy and romantic. The staff were very helpful and made the stay a very pleasent experience.

very well organized. It was nice to have been
given all the avaialble options on how to get to the property from the aipport- private taxi, shuttle bus, train.
One of the gentlemen that checked us in(late evening) was not helpful-didn't seem to be familiar with rooms and services at domus. He only knew about the hotel.

Include more about the location- it is very close to absolutely everything and you can reach all tourist areas by foot. There are lots of eatieries close by- something the web site does not capture.

Charming historical residence with all the benefits of a hotel but with the privacy of an apartment. We felt like we were living in Rome for a few days!

The only point of confusion was that when the reservation was confirmed, it did not specifically state that breakfast was included. In the room, there was a card listing the cost of breakfast (I presume from the hotel). It was only when we checked out that we were told that breakfast was included. It would be helpful to make this clearer to the guests.

Lovely room, good location, with good service from the hotel. Staying in an apartment building was a nice change of pace from standard hotels. Highly recommended!

We did have a problem with the hot water
heater. Which made for a few cool showers.

one room. And this would have doubled the

great air conditioning in the room.The fridge is no use as without the key in the wall it is not on and therefore things heat up again
