No issues with arrival experience.
Staff was courteous and was always willing to assist with questions.

Not much help from the man on duty during the daytime concerning possibilities of transportation to the airport. When we asked him he merely stated that he could not help us and would not even check the schedules via the internet!
The bar is seldom open, but the bartender is a very positive experience!!!

It would have been rather helpful if the staff had told us that there was a bus strike so that we might have avoided a 25 minute wait for a bus to the Stazione Termini and gone straight to the taxi stand!!! We almost missed our transport to the airport on that account.

Hotel Della Torre Argentina has a perfect situation for a stay in Rome as all major sights are within walking distance so we would definitely recommend it - and have already done so a number of times - to our friends. We have stayed at the hotel a couple of times ourselves.

We booked transporation from FCO to the hotel through the hotel. We were met promptly upon exiting from baggage claim and were accompanied to the place to meet our car and driver. It couldn;t have been easier!

The location of this property was ideal. We were able to walk to most everything, and were close to a tourist bus stop and great small local restaurants. A great location!

Taxi driver couldn't find the hotel but we did not book that through the hotel although we wish we had.

Only problem was tv/internet reception. After a brief time period, the tv station would become jumpy and statically. Internet service was accessible through the tv monitor; however, the visibility throught he tv monitor severely limited what time you would spend. It was very hard to read emails, etc.

The breakfast buffet area was well appointed and very spacious. Many breakfast selections were provided.
A bus stop is located directly in front of the hotel entrance, causing the front entrance to be very trashy with discarded papers thrown down in that area. At times, it is hard to gain entry into the hotel because of the people standing in front of the door while waiting for the bus.

Our stay was enjoyable & we would stay here again. The rooms were comfortable & basic - clean, air conditioned & quiet.

We thought it was interesting that the hotel was right beside an archaeological site that (although it is not really marked as such)is the spot where Julius Caesar was murdered!! It is now a cat sanctuary and you can take free tours of the site through the sanctuary.

Very convenient location, friendly staff, good restaurants in the area. Our room was clean and quiet. The air conditioning worked well. Breakfast was not too bad.

The room itself was compact and very clean. My only complain is that we had a room at the front of the hotel which was very noisy when the window was open. The double glazing did make a difference however I am a light sleeper and was wakened during the night one a few occasions as a result of the traffic noise. We did not try to change rooms as we did not feel that we were overly inconvenienced.

There is a suggestion on some websites (although not on yours) that the roof terrace is available to all guests. This is one of the reasons I booked at this hotel, however the terrace is only available to guests staying on the 5th floor.

Only for the first room. The second one was not in line with my direct request to the hotel. (large, non smoking room with a bath).

The first room that we got was exactly what we requested.Unfortunatly, this room (No 401 which is the one on the web site) was at the 4th level directly underneath big airconditionning fans and comppressors. We had the impression to take off whith a plane ....) . We asked to change our room and we got an other one (No 218), small whith a shower instead of a bath as requested. We were forced to have the lights swich on during the day due to the location on the back of the hotel at the second level. Un fortunatly we have been invoiced the same price than the one requested.

This hotel has 2 main qualities
1) the location for tourists near of the main places to visit.
2) the cleaning
The breakfast is 'mediocre'

Very well situated and clean but expensive for the quality of the rooms and breakfast.
For our next stay in Rome next spring, we will look for an other hotel situated in the same area, but for sure we will not stay again at the Della Tore Agentina hotel.

I think you should note its great location and that there is a bus stop in front of the hotel and a taxi stand down the street. It is in a central location, within walking distance of all the important sites.
