Hotel Daniel's is in a perfect location, centrally situated on one of Rome's prestigious shopping streets. Though located on a busy street the room was exceptionally quiet. High standard of accommodation, cleanliness and comfort. There were fresh flowers and fruit in the room each day. The receptionist was extremely helpful. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Rome.

hotel daniel is in a prime location for everything to do in rome, the staff are so helpful and courteous and all speak fuent english, the hotel is immaculately clean and i would reccommend it to anyone that likes the hustle and bustle of rome as soon as you walk out the hotel reception.

The directions to the hotel were not very clear, as the only hint was the address. As Via frattina is located in an area with lots of 'Senso unico' and 'Traffico limitato', it was very difficult to get to the hotel. So maybe a detailed map, with a blue/red line showing the streets to take, coming from A1, for ex.

The receptionist did not know how to direct us from the Car park to the hotel, as lots of streets are one way only. So we had to find a way ourselves. This was not the case at the arrival, when a different one was very good showing us the way from the hotel to the nearest Car park.

A beautifuly looked after hotel, perfectly located in the middle of the shopping area, walking distance from all tourist attractions. Lots of bars and restaurants within 5-10 minutes walk. Very clean and staff very polite. On a quiet road with no traffic.Good value for money in the middle of Rome.

We loved it. Situation axcellent. We walked to all our restaurants. No need for taxis. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel. The weather was perfect and loved the breakfast room even though the lifts were a bit of work!

We asked where we could find a good restaurant in the area for lunch and we were directed to a very good restaurant near by, which was not expensive at all.

It was a lovely hotel but much smaller than the impression I had, when looking at the internet. The roof top restaurant was out of action. We were not sure if there were any more rooms in the hotel as there was a second stair case and lift which we never used.We were in a small but tall annexe.
We would certainly stay there again and it is quite a safe hotel to stay for a lady travelling alone. I was on holiday with my daughter and it was an ideal location.
I would certainly recommend it and have done so to my friends who may yet visit Rome.

The staff arranged a taxi to take us to the air port and we were allowed the use of our room until departure at 5pm, with out any extra charge.

A lovely clean hotel. Super bedroom and bathroom facilities. Staff were always polite and friendly. Ideally located to the centre of Rome and a safe area for Mother and Daughter to walk at night.

The hotel was in an excellent location, with many of the sights in walking distance. The hotel staff were friendly, efficient, helpful and spoke excellent English. The rooms were of a high standard, nicely decorated and the double glazing very effective, although the street was fairly quiet. The breakfast was excellent and the service was very good.

Roof-top breakfast room inconvenient to reach from parts of hotel - you need to take a lift down to the ground floor and another up to the roof.

I was quite surprised when the second thing the receptionist said (after 'welcome') was 'you have been upgraded to a junior suite, at the same rate, of course. . .'

The only problem we encountered was in operating the electronic keys--there was a little trick that we were not instructed in that resulted in some extra trips to the reception desk and getting the cards re-programmed--a minor inconvenience and not so terrible in the overall experience. The room was elegant and spacious, the bathroom large and modern. The bowl of fresh fruit provided everyday was a nice touch, and fully appreciated.

We've been to Rome many many times, and think of Daniel's Hotel as a real find--well located, beautifully appointed, wonderfully small, with an accommodating staff--comfortable in every way and definitely a hotel we would recommend and stay at again.

It was a very hot day. Both the receptionist and bellman were most helpful in being empathetic and expedient in their service.

As we where staying over new year , we asked the hotel staff if they could recommend a restaurant. They where happy to do so and suggested a very nice restaurant, where we had a wonderful evening and a very enjoyable new year celebration

I thought the hotel was very good. I thought the breakfast however, was very poor with no fresh bread (just dry factory sliced bread) and poor ingredients, one time even 'green' ham! I mention breakfast because I had particularly looked forward to breakfasting on the terrace! By the way, on web site the terrace seemed to be al fresco, however in reality it was covered but with windows all round.

A lovely smalll hotel in the heart of Rome - I thought the location was unbeatable. However, skip breakfast and don't talk too loudly in your room - we could hear exactly what's going on underneath us!

We ordered the limousine service to the airport, but the driver was half an hour too late. This was the only bad experience we had during our stay, everything else was fine.

A very nice little hotel, clean and charming, very friedly staff. Great location. The breakfast is in a nice little room with great view on top of the hotel. Breakfast is continental, could be a little bit more choice for the price. But it was sufficient (juices, tea, coffee, cappuccino, one kind of sausage and cheese, jam, fruits, hard boiled eggs, bread and different kinds of cookies and cakes). Mainly orientated on italian taste. It was nice to have fresh fruits in the room every day.

The only negative comment is that the jacuzzi in the room didn't work and the attention at breakfast could have been better eg having to ask for more coffee to be made. Otherwise it was a lovely hotel.

Could not use shower as screen did not fit so water all over bathroom floor. Could not use roof garden area as per web site-only for breakfast so no area to sit out athotel
