We arrived quite early (before check in) and La Girandola were very helpful in that we were abble to deposit bags to enable us to see some of the city before check in and even offered us a room to use temporarily if we wished to freshen up from our flight. Very thoughtful.

Everyone at La Girandola was so very welcoming and friendly. The rooms were larger than expected and service was second to none. We will be reccommending this B&B to everyone we know and will hopefully return ourselves sometime soon.

Again we were able to leave our bags at the B&B after check out as we had a late flight. All staff were extremely pleasant and we received a very warm send off.

Hola, somos una pareja que hemos estado en este establecimiento del 11 al 15 de diciembre y estamos muy contentos. Nos dieron las llaves al entrar y hasta que marchamos. Todo estaba muy limpio. El desayuno completo, pero no espereis embutido, solo pastas, zumo, café... pero estaba bién.

Sencillo, limpio, tranquilo, céntrico y barato. Aunque la zona pueda dar un poquito de mal rollo por las pintas que ves, no tuvimos sensación de peligro en ningún momento.

We would definitely stay there again if we wanted to be near Termini as a short-term stopover. The room was small, but very clean, quiet and comfortable. English was spoken well and they were very helpful - early check-in and stored luggage after check-out.

Our hosts were wonderful. They found help immediately to help with the language barrier, and offered information about a tour. There was some mis-information about the location, but we were in the general vacinity. Our room was imaculate and very comfortable. .

Surprisingly modern facilities in an old building. Comfortable beds, very clean and inviting. Although you wonder about the environment of the neighborhood, once inside, we felt very secure and safe. I highly recommend staying there and would stay there again.

The people are very friendly there. The room was fine and everything was very clean.
The breakfast was only standard, not very opulent. In summery I would take this accommodation again and can recommend it.

It is a vey cosy and nice BB. Room is clean and well furnished. Staff is particularly helpful and friendly. They don't treat you as a customer but as a welcomed friend. Breakfast could be slightly richer. Some staff don't speak English, but communication was not an issue at all.

We had a very pleasant stay at La Girandola.
Lorenzo and his dad were very courteous and helpful hosts. The accommodations were spacious and clean and we see that they put a lot of work making the space comfortable and up-to-date. The area is quite busy and noisy but we had no problems sleeping at night. The double-pane windows blocked most of the noise so we slept w/out a problem.
We were always greeted with a smile and a nice breakfast that comprised of cereal, pastry/toast, jams/butter, yogurt and a choice of tea/coffee.
La Girandola is really close to the Termini and metro (within 5 min walk) so it was convenient for us to get around Rome.
Grazie mille La Girandola for such a pleasant stay.

La Girandola is very good placed, near to termini, (railwaystation and metro), the historical center is reachable by foot too. It's a small family B&B, the staff was very frendly and helpfull. I would choose it agein.

When asked if we could have breakfast a little early they kindly accommodated up by having it ready even before the time we asked for it which made our departure much easier. Of course it's never easy leaving Italy behind!

Very clean, excellent location, comfortable bed, accommodating staff and paid exactly the amount of the online voucher. The only slightly negative thing is that the bathroom is very small with a small shower, but it wasn't a problem for us and my guy is 6'1' and 290 lbs., not a small man.

We arrived at the building and entered the street level door with another building occupant. Once inside we did not know where to go as there was no directions. It did not take long to find it on the second floor, but a sign would have been helpful.

We did not appreciate that the B&B only had three rooms. This was nice as it really ensured a very quiet and pleasant stay.
It would have been nice to be able to understand what the arrangments were with the facility. It literally is a residence inside a residential building that someone turned some of the rooms into guests rooms that you pay for. Perhaps that is typical of B&B's in Rome and we just did not realize it. This is not a negative but the information might be useful to others considering staying there.

This is very quaint and small B&B located on the second floor of a multi-residence building. It has only three guests rooms that we were aware of. The rooms are very simple and clean but very nice. It is very close to the main train station and thus very convient for all travel needs. There is plenty of services in the neighbourhood. The hotel operators were very pleasant but brush up on your Italian as they spoke little English so asking travel related questions was a challenge but we always got enough of an answer to allow us to make our plans. The operators were always cheerful and pleasant to talk with. It always makes you feel good talking to them even if you did not understand everything they said.

The only problem we got in the room was that there was a problem with the window which meant we could never opened it during the 5 days we were there.

Two problems:
They offer internet in the room which did not work in the time we were there.
The main and big problem we had there is that the people from the B&B weaks up very early in the morning (6 am) and since the place is small all the noises they made (they even talked on the phone very loudly) could be heard in our room. Therefore we woke up every single day we were there around 6 am.
One comment:
We were a bit dissapointed with the breakfast because the bread was a kind of packed, toasted bread. If you are in Italy you expect to have real bread. Otherwise, the breakfast was good.

As our check out time was much earlier than our flight home the owners kindly kept our luggage for us until departure time.

The accommodation is simple but standard of cleaning is immaculate.
It´s well located to explore all major sites but the area of it´s location is a bit shabby. The B and B isn´t well signpostedö the sign is in the window on first floor.
The owner doesn´t speak english but an english speaking person was available at times.

When we saw the outside, we wondered if we booked at the right place, as we were new to Italy. But the inside of the b& b was lovely .The receptionist was very cordial and helpful.

Lovely place to stay. Very close to the Railway station. But there are somany exits to via Giolitti, that its confusing. It is very easy if we take the exit close to HERTZ car hire. Just cross the road from there and in less than a minute is the B & B.

There was a water leakage from the air condition,when we have told it to the awner, he knew about it and said:'someone will come today to repair it'.
Someone did arrive, but the problem was not solved.Every night we had to put a towel under the air condition.
This is the only complaint we have.

This was a clean, modest room. The setting is very close to the Rail station which is convenient for travel to and from Rome. Initially, I was concerned about the neighborhood but the book could not be judged accordingly. The area seemed to prove nice and as expected in a large city.
