It was a very spacious apartment suited for 6 people to sleep, very clean and nice. Much nicer than we expected! The location was also even better than expected.

Maybe you could write some more details about the great neighbourhood. ... Very nice, very clean, great staff, all in all very good value for the money.

We arrived fairly late in the evening but everything was well organized. ... A pity the roof terrace was being refurbished so we could not use it. In the 5 persons suite the 5th bed was not a proper bed, but we got an extra matrass so it was OK. Some rooms were rather small, but then : you're only there to sleep. ... We paid in advance so there were no problems at all. Luggage was stored in the breakfast room. ... The breakfast was more elaborate with a choice of bakeries, cake etc. than we had in another 3 *** hotel in Rome. ... Ideally situated, good value for money for a school group. We'll go there again.

We took a cab from the train station so didn't really use the directions to locate the place at first. We were very lucky-were given a 2br apt next door which was so roomy and spacious. The staff were very nice, breakfast great and we loved the location. Would recommend the apartments. We did not end up seeing the rooms. ... Loved it. Everyone was helpful and polite and the location is superb ... They called a cab for us and we checked out the night before. No hassle at all. ... The breakfast is nice-yogart is a plus so as to include some protein. There is someone there all night which is helpful when you leave your key. The staff helped us bring our suitcases up to the third floor, so that was nice as well. ... Great location in ancient rome. Stores nearby with wine and cheese and fruit. Bustling neighborhood-loved the sounds. So close to many areas to walk. Felt very safe.

We had requested a taxi to collect us from the airport and this did not turn up, but we managed to get another one ourselves. It was on the B & Bs list to be done so they did not understand why we were not collected. ... We were very pleased with the B & B. It was very quite and peaceful, delightful ladies doing the breakfast and a more than adequate breakfast provided. The only criticism - an extra pillow each would have been good and there was a smell of drains in the bathroom at certain times but I had read on other websites that this is not uncommon in Rome and we did not spend much time in the room. If I was going to Rome again I would stay here as the location was excellent. The young man who we saw at check in was also very helpful re choosing a restaurant and helping us on the public transport ... Very quick. They looked after our case for us while we spent the last day sightseeing and cancelled our taxi when we decided to make our own way back to the airport. ... Well situated for ancient Rome and the metro and buses. Very quite at night so sleep was not disturbed. I suspect that if we had a room at the front of the building it might have been a noisier, so I would suggest requesting a room at the back.

Very good price for the location -- a 10-minute walk from the Colosseum and a 5-minute walk from a handy subway station. Nice neighborhood with a few good restaurants very close. Our room was mostly fine (the walls were dirty but it was otherwise clean) -- however, we did notice that some rooms are very close the the breakfast room (so would be good only for early risers). The breakfast was above average, and many of the front-desk staff were very helpful and pleasant. I would stay here again.

The quad room was VERY small. If one person was standing at the end of the row of beds, the other person had to walk over the beds to get to the other side. The bathroom was almost more spacious than the room. Additionally, there was noise outside the room that could be heard inside the room. The management was able to make the noisemakers quiet. ... The breakfast juice was a horrible mixture of something which was NOT juice. ... It is centrally located as long as you don't mind walking to places. The room was not big enough for 4 people. The bathroom is very nice.

The Web site should provide picture of all rooms we had a room for three and it was really a room for two with a camping bed.
The stay was too short to fully appreciate the proximity of the B&B to the historical resources of Rome ... very, very small room difficult to find by car - street reserved business and resident ... well situated but difficult to access by car and very small rooms by canadian standards

We did not arrive until 03.00hrs but were greeted by a polite and helpful night porter.
Difficult address to find on foot from the terminal. ... A very, very basic B&B accommodation however it was extremely close to the tourist attractions and eateries. The staff were all most helpful and spoke excellent English. Directions I feel could be a lot clearer. Fairly pricey compared to other major city accommodation. ... Directions by foot from the Termini; this walk will take approx. 20 minutes. ... Very basic; typical Italian style building; clean and friendly; convenient for attractions; 20 minute walk from Termini

They were reluctant and rude about providing enough towels for 5 people. The desk clerk didn't believe we had 5 people in the room. Also, they only made up the beds every other day. The mattresses on the beds were not comfortable. We would not recommend this property to others. ... They were helpful in arranging a shuttle van back to the airport. ... Overpriced, rude staff, uncomfortable beds. The rooms look nothing like the picture on the web site. It does offer a good location close to the collosseum and Roman Forum and it is on a quiet street. Staying here won't ruin your trip but it won't add anything special either.

The walls are a little thin (no suond proofing) allowing the people in the next room to be easily heard. ... Good value for the money. Comfortable, but alittle tight. Clean, well cared for hotel. Would like some fresh fruit for breakfast, but this aspect was like most other hotels and B&Bs we stayed at in Italy, most don't have fresh fruit. That said, this B&B was still better than some we stayed in.

None, everything went very well and the staff is very pleasant and helpful. ... Our only problem was that the single beds were very narrow and hard matress (we were 3 adults) For the rest we didn't have any problems at all. The breakfast is really good, more than plenty choises and their personal very friendly and helpful. We view one of the receptionist having to deal with a 'difficult customer' and we should command her calm and way to difuss the situation. ... We paid $5.00 euros less than expected. But at the moment we didn't realized it. It was too close to the stated amount to realized right away. ... I'm sorry but i can't think of any. ... I'll say that it is a fair place in an excellent location and with a very professional staff.

we had a family room , large , plenty of space for 4 ,Stayed 3 night then went to Pompeii had other accomadation booked for a further 2 days when we returned but were so impressed with our room, the service and the location that we decided to cancel that and stay here . ... we we going to get the train to the airport cost 44 Euro plus metro but reception suggested and organised a taxi for the same cost . got to the airport in about 35 minutes , no dragging luggage through the rain ... its a great area , small grocery shops , deli, gelato some nice restauants, laundry close by walk up the street 100m to some serious shopping walk to many locations in 20 minutes

It was nice to have so many people who spoke fluent english and made us feel at home. ... Would like to commend all the staff on their politeness and helpfulness. When we return to Rome we will most definatley stay there again.
Having a large family (5), having one room which we could all share was very convenient (and quite unusual). ... The staff were very helpful again in arranging the taxi for our departure (and even chased them up when they were a couple of mins late :-) ). ... No ... Convenient central location, elegantly decorated and reasonably priced.

One member of the staff, Ivan, was immensely helpful and very nice. We looked forward to seeing him every night on his shift. He was one of the highlights of Rome! Thank you Ivan! ... Quaint, but with an excellent location. It was so easy to navigate Rome from this location. The electric bus has a stop right outside, and the neighborhood had all the shops, restaurants, and internet cafes we needed while in Rome.

Whilst the correct street was given and easy to find, Via Serpenti, it was a bit confusing finding the hotel itself because it has nothing outside advertising where the entrance is. It is a single non descript doorway, with only Monte Residence Antiflavio over one of several doorbells to indicate it is there. Minor grumble, but perhaps some reference could be made in the instructions (eg. identify the shops either side?). ... Your Web Site referred to a bar but there wasn't one, though several local bars nearby. ... Not suitable for people with disabilities with narrow lift not capable of taking a wheel chair or stairs to the bedrooms, and stair access only down to the breakfast room. ... 'Very good, clean, quiet B&B, extremely good value for the centre of Rome'.

Rome in general is difficult to navigate in. The B&B is difficult to find. Directions from the Cavour metro station would be a huge help. ... The place was clean and just as described on the website. We will stay here the next time we visit Rome and we have told all of our friends about it. ... Easy walking distance to the ancient ruins and a short distance to Termini. ... Clean rooms, friendly staff, GREAT location, and a place we plan to stay again.

We were very pleased with the location of the hotel and were impressed with the hotels reception area and were expecting the rooms to be of the same standard. However, we found the double room rather small and cramped and that the guests staying in the twin room did not have en-suite and had to use a bathroom accross the hall which was not mentined when booking. All in all the accommodation was clean and offered excellent customer service. The breakfast was very nice and the location perfect for sightseeing. Thank you. ... The walls are very thin and you can hear your neighbours conversations!!! ... Clean and friendly, in a very good location and ok for a few days considering your out sightseeing most of the day.

There had been a problem with the floor we were to stay on, so we were accommodated in an 'apartment' next door. (There was no kitchen, so I don't technically call it an apartment.) We didn't actually see any of the rooms in the hotel. Our apartment was upstairs without a lift, which was a minor inconvenience. The rooms were clean and functional. We had trouble regulating the shower; it was either hot or cold, but not warm. There were four in our party who would have been in two separate rooms, so it was a minor inconvenience to share one small bathroom. However, we know that they were doing the best they could under the circumstances and we were glad for the accomodation. ... This was a wonderful location. We walked around the Colesseum and Forum at night and it was beautiful. There are great restaurants within walking distance. The Maharajah Indian restaurant was outstanding. The gelateria across the street had more flavors than I'd seen anywhere and they were open late. ... We had paid in advance, so checking out really consisted of dropping off the key. ... There are two ATM's a block or so away from the hotel. There is a post office about two blocks away and a mailbox about a block away. There is a tobacconist a block away for stamps, etc.. There was a camera shop within a couple of blocks as well. There are several restaurants within a block, at least 3 deli- type places for antipasto-type ingredients. There are other various shops within a couple of blocks, clothing, jewelry, imports, musical instruments, etc. ... Great location. :-)

In comparison with other B&B´s of the same price category we´ve stayed at in Rome, this one had much smaller rooms ... We had a very early start, but the staff was helpful in arranging a take-away breakfast and a good taxi deal. ... Very good location on fairly quiet street in the centre of Rome; skillful and helpful staff; clean, with good air conditioning. Rooms small and cramped. In the 'pent house' apartment one small combined shower/toilet for seven people; one of the two rooms was a windowless little space without any place for clothes. No place for a longer stay, two nights ok.

1.The staff at the reception desk was very welcoming, and their English was quite impressive.

Staff was very helpful in locating local sites. The only problem we experienced was that the restroom often lacked basic supplies - we had to ask on two occasions for additional toilet tissue as we had run out. Also, we had ants in our room one night and the staff couldn't correct the problem. They did offer to move us to anotehr room, so there were very accomodating. ... Typical 'in city' type accomodations. Very close to the old part of the city and easy to access all of the sites. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

When we checked out we left our luggage in the reception because we were leaving late afternoon and we had to check-out before 11.00 am. I would have been great if the hotel had a locked room just for such luggage. It felt pretty unsafe to leave our luggage in the open at the reception for anyone to claim that it was their luggage. But we had no choice and the luggage was there when we arrived later that afternoon. ... Good location, clean, fairly cheap.

The hotel is inside the restricted zone where you are not allowed to enter by car during certains periods of the day. This information must be given in the directions for those who, like me, arrive by car because you can get a fine for that, as I did. The hotel did not agreed to call the STA which is the department to where they should advise of guests cars to prevent fines. ... It should be better for the 140,00 Euros I payed each day. I payed the same price in Florence for a much better hotel (Hotel Balestri). I wa a little disappointed.

The hotel staff was very friendly. ... The hotel appeared clean, however, their policy is to change towels every other day. The towels were very thin and small and almost like table linens rather than bathroom towels.
The maid thook the towels from used in the morning, irregardless of the policy and did not return them until we asked for them from reception. ... No additional comments ... I would not recommend the hotel to a friend. The location is very close to some of the ancient parts of Rome. I have stayed in hotels in a similar area that provided more comfortable, higher quality accomodations for less

AFTER LOOKING AT OTHER HOTELS ON THE WEB, IT WOULD APPEAR THAT OUR HOTEL WAS OVERPRICED FOR THE FACILITIES IT HAD. ALTHOUGH THE STAFF WERE NICE. IT WAS ALSO QUITE DIRTY DUE TO WORK BEING CARRIED OUT. SATELITE TV GAVE NO ENGLISH SPEAKING CHANNELS AND THERE WAS NO COFFEE OR TEA FACILITIES OFFERED.

The room was very poor. Also, we were locked out at one point after coming back from dinner as the receptionist was not at their desk. This was only for a few minutes but was very frustrating. ... Some rooms are in the building next door to the hotel, and are of a much lower standard to what is described. The room was terrible and if I had known what it was like I would not have stayed there. ... The room was small and in need of renovation, no chairs or tables or any furniture, it had a bad smell, the shower screen was dirty, the toilet leaked and made a loud cistern noise for a long time after flushing. The room was also very noisy, you could hear every noise coming from the bathroom in the next room, the heating did not work and there was oil dripping from a heater. The breakfast was awful, the bread was stale, and a plate was picked up from another table where it had not been used and passed on to us, it could have been sitting out for a long time. I would definitely not recommend this place, it was the worst of the entire holiday.

We liked the ability to keep our luggage in the lobby with someone in attendance when we were too early for our room to be ready. We felt the luggage was secure if it was a reputable hotel and it was.

We were given a microscopic room with double bed next to the breakfast area with almost no daylight and no outlook. We had asked for twin beds. The bed and shower quality were excellent. The staff were very appologetic and we were given a reduced rate as it was not what we had asked for or as advertised. We were able to move into a large double room with twin beds and good daylight after 2 nights hen it became free. The staff were very nice and very helpful and charming thoroughout. ... questions 7,8,9 the first room was worse than advertised and did not have the advertised facilities, the second room was as advertised. ... It would have been useful to know that room number 7 was not the same as the other rooms and was a cheaper rate. ... The location was not especially interesting but we could easily get to everywhere we wanted to go. The staff were great and in the end we got a good deal for our money - but we would rather have paid more and had a nice room from the beginning. Hotels in Rome are more expensive and more difficult to find than we had expected. i would book earlier next time. It is hard to find something simple clean and contemporary airy and light and very Italian. We could not find a hotel on the internet that reflected the Italians love of contemporary design- Is this just Rome? . It also seems to be impossible to find something less like a hotel and more like a family home.

We were given an inferior suite for 5 people in a room that was not yet painted, with an uninstalled fan, windows that did not keep the sound out and a very tight bathroom. One of the beds was a fold-out couch, therefore not really a bed. I pointed out to the receptionist that this was not the room I had booked. She admitted that it wasn't and moved us as of the next night to the correct room which was exactly as your website described it and showed it to be. We managed to drop the price of the first room to 170 euros but I could not believe they were still willing to charge us 220 for an inferior, unwelcoming suite. The correct room we got for the remaining 3 nights was good and met our requirements. ... The exterior picture shown on the website does not reflect the actual location and it says that it is on a plaza which is not true, the plaza is down the street. ... Room number 7 should be avoided, it's too close to the reception and very very small. There was also some problems with us getting the towels (?!) to our room since they were missing they handed out first night only one towel for two persons... maybe thought we would steal them or something.
