Unfortunately, it was unusually hot in Paris during our visit and the air conditioning at the Hotel Saint Germain was not functioning at full capacity. Other than that, the room was clean, quiet, private, etc.

Every single member of the staff with whom we interacted was wonderful! They were so very helpful with directions, suggestions, and warm conversation.

We had to stay one day longer due to the general strike in Paris and the hotel was very friendly in extending our reservation.

Not cheap, not luxury, but well located and also adequate for a short stay in Paris. We like this part of Paris, which we are familiar with, and Hotel St. Germain was a very nice option. We would have no problems to stay again at this hotel. And we really enjoyed the decoration in the lobby and in the corridors, plus the small library in the lobby.

Over-priced hotel in a great location. Don't take the hotel breakfast but walk one block to the beautiful and typical Parisian cafe where you can sit with the locals who are taking coffee and croissants before heading off to the office. Much more fun, cheaper and with a freshly squeezed orange juice.....
