We were very happy with the Royal Phare. It very easy to find - literally right in front of us as we made our way out of the Metro and the hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff helpful. Hotel is basic but had everything we required for an enjoyable weekend in Paris

We found the toilets very clean, but in our country we are familiar to water closets with additional pipe mounted, especially for further cleaning after using the WC. There was no other negative comments.

Excellent location. 10 minute walk to Eiffel Tower, and there is a metro about 5 feet from the hotel entrance.

Very small. Smallest elevator on earth so pack light. Small rooms as well. However, you cannot beat the location, and value. If on a budget then this is the place.

The rooms are quite small, the furniture is fairly old but clean. The extra blankets & bed cover (the one on the very top) could be cleaner. The walls are thin.

The walls are thin, the noises can be heard but I did not have any noisy neighbours so it did not disturb me. The location is very good, metro entrance is just in front of hotel entrance. There is a laptop to access to internet, which is also good. If you look for a very good price and a fairly clean place to stay, Royal Phare is great. If you are looking for new and spacious rooms, do not prefer.

We were suprised that the lift is incredibly small! The staff who greeted us at night is very nice but the man in the day was rather rude actually. We didn't note his name unfortunately.

As for question 9, we can't say much about it. The web provided nice and beautiful pictures but we did find our room a little too small. That, we wouldn't be able to see in the pictures online.

If you like to stay in a rather accessible area with some of the famous Paris attractions nearby, this is the place. Don't expect too much from the rooms or room service at night. A clean and affordable place for short stays.

The Hotel service is nice. Especially we liked that the receptionists are usually helpeful, welcome and polite. We enjoyed staying in the Royal Phare Hotel. Thank you.
