Initially, I was a little disappointed that I did not get a front room which seemed a little larger, but taking the noise factor into consideration, I appreciated the back room. It had all the features that it promised.

Loved the location. The hotel is as I had expected it to be.
Only negative was that the fan was rather noisy and the hot water was lacking in the morning on one day. On the next day, we showered earlier and there was sufficient hot water. Other than those 2 minor complaints, everything was perfect.

They arranged for a shuttle service to the airport which was satisfactory.

Charming, older hotel a few steps from the Place des Vosges. If you want to be in the Marais, this is an ideal location. The room, while very small, has all the features that you need - a great bed, a big TV and a pretty fabulous bath.

I would recommend this hotel and I would stay there again. It is a great location, the apartment is perfect for families and there is no doubt as to which city you are in, it is very French and very Parisian. A real gem!

This is a great hotel for someone wanting to be in a super location and doesn't mind no A/C and street noise through open windows in the summer. Staff are tops and were very helpful.

The person who greeted us was extremely nice and helpful. In fact, she got us ice water to cool us down after our travels. Very friendly.

We had requested a deluxe room but while the room was quite nice, it was incredibly small. There was no room for our suitcases. We asked to be moved to a larger room. The only larger rooms were standard rooms that did not have renovated bathrooms.

While we never met the manager, we found that she was not accomodating and, in fact, was quite rigid. She insisted that we pay the rates for the deluxe room even though we were moved to a standard room. It became a rather unpleasant check out procedure.

Great location! The staff was wonderful - very helpful and friendly. The deluxe rooms were too small for any luggage and we had to squeeze around the beds. The new improved bathrooms are lovely. If the larger rooms are enhanced to keep up with the smaller ones, the place will be terrific!

Therese, the concierge when we arrived, was outstanding in her assistance. The airlines had lost our luggage and we had filed the appropriate forms at CDG. Therese took over! She stayed in contact with appropriate airport officials and continually updated us on the progress, or lack of it, in finding our luggage. She also suggested modest priced stores where we were able to shop for what we absolutely needed. Our luggage arrived at the hotel 3 hours before we left for a bicycle and barge tour. I have no doubt that Therese was the person who deserved all the credit. EXCELLENT SERVICE!

Clean, friendly, great location but some public areas were very worn and shabby. Great service.

Very Parisian, English spoken which made communication very easy. Close to Marais and places we wished to visit. Happy to recommend to friends.
