We had already been at this hotel about seven years ago. It was just as friendly and homely and very comfortable as always. And all the people are wonderful.

When you meet very nice people and you are very nice people, there is something about a trip that makes it even more worthwhile.Paris is wonderful and the people at le Pavillon Bastille gave the incentive.

The space of the room is used with ingenuity. Very comfortable. More space is not necessary in my opinion. Everything you want, a nice long bath, a restful sleep, all the facilities are right at hand.It's a lovely room.And of course the metro and lots of wonderful places are nearby.

When we arrived we only had one towel in our room, so we had to go to the reception to collect more. The following evening when we returned to our room we hadn't been left any towels, so we had to go back to the reception for some. This was a little frustrating, as it happened two days in a row. Apart from the towels we were very satisfied with the standard of service.

We were allowed to keep our luggage in my mother's room, as she wasn't checking out until the foloowing day.

The room was small, but tastfully decorated.The hotel's in a very good location - only a couple of mins to the nearest metro. The staff were accommodating & the buffet breakfast was ample.

Everything was very good and we enjoyed staying att the hotel. The room was very nice but it would have been nice with a chest of drawers to put the clothes in.

It is a nice and comfortable hotel and perfect for a shorter stay. Everything felt new and it was very clean. The hotel is perfect situated close to the metro station Bastille and it is also possible to reach many sites by walking.

The rooms are very small. That was OK for one night but we would probably not stay there for more than 1 night.

we actually went by a description in a book on french hotels, which rated it better then it was.
Did not indicate it was on a noisy road.
Only other thing, the toilet didn't flush correctly.
otherwise a very good location.

we expected a bigger room, when entering the room it was very hot.
At night the keycards did not work, the security person had to open the door for us.

nice breakfast! I loved the fruitsalade, but some mornings the salade was unfortunately already finished.
...
Quit good hotel but a bit expensive for the kind of room.
