The front desk manager helped us with a special reservation with had at Jules Vernes and called ahead for us. Excellent.

On #6 ther was one front desk person that was not always polite and helpful.
on #8: very clean and private. I do not know what you consider spacious and quiet. I consider it normal given the location.

We arrived at about 23.30 and were told that there was nowhere nearby to go out that was safe - this in fact was incorrect as there were lots of bars/clubs on Champs Elysees and a wine bar merely strides away so as this was our first ever night in Paris, we missed out

There are 2 receptionists on my arrival. The French girl is snobbish and unfriendly. When i ask directions to the shopping area, she is rude & unhelpful.The Chinese guy is very poilte & helpful.

One thing good about this hotel is the location. It is near to all the tourist attractions & the shopping area. I'll highly recommend it to all the ladies who love to shop. Perfect location. The room is a little wear down but it's spacious & clean.

You get exactly what you are expecting, no unpleasant surprises. High quality hotel with good location and great staff. We were very pleased. I'd used a similar service to book a few rooms in the UK and was not as happy with the properties they used. Parisby.com provided a top-notch hotel at a very good value. Madeleine Plaza was superb!

The room we had was very small and noisy, but it was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was the best we had in Paris although it was not included in the price.

The breakfast, although costly at 12 euros, was the best breakfast we had in France during our two week stay. Eggs were available and the variety of breads, cereals, fruits and cheeses were excellent.
Also, the location was great. There were good restaurants and shops nearby and there was access to buses and travel information a block from the hotel.

Hotels and retail services are no longer happy with traveler checks since the banks now charge the institutions a fee when the traveler checks are sent on to the banks. Emeraude did take the travlers checks upon checkout.

We loved our room; however, when we closed the toilet room door, it had not been cleaned behind the door.... alot of dust and body hairs. We figured it was because the space was so cramped the cleaners did not see this behind the door.

Smooth and efficient! The desk fellow even went out to double check that the taxi knew to take us to Terminal 3 at the airport.

The location is fantastic!!! We felt safe walking at night to the Champs d'elysee, the river, etc. etc. The fabulous department stores are very close as well as the Fauchaun, Lauderee, great restaurants, etc.

Location, location, location! Book it!
One problem was that we stayed here on Sept.25 & 26, 2007 and the price for a twin was 165euros; however, when we returned from the south of France 10 days later, the price had increased to 240euros... no breakfast! We were told it was because of the World Rugby Tournament. We felt it was too big of a jump in price and breakfast should have been included as we are both very light eaters. We tried to get the price down but were told, 'no, that it was 'high season''
The cafe right beside the entrance served a wonderful omelette and the Fauchaun was just across the street... who needed the hotel's overpriced breakfast...?

Bathroom was less than clean. The tile and grout needed to be cleaned and the door was warped and peeling from the excessive moisture in the bathroom.

Nothing happens fast in France. But with my ParisShuttle van waiting and anxious they didn't speed up a bit.

They now offer internet, but the day rate is not much of a deal. I paid for unlimted use for a day but only used it once. There is only one computer available and no guidelines for use. Another guest monopolized the PC for about an hour+. I felt ripped off.
The place the desk suggested for dinner was AWFUL! Beware!

Adequate, but pricey for Paris. Nice location but not much in the way of restaurants nearby. Good location for jumping on the Metro and getting everywhere else. The metro under the hotel was like a long thunderstorm.

It was my third stay at the hotel. As the location is very good,the room cozy,I recommend the hotel to be one of the charming small hotels in Paris.

The staff needed to check if I could have an early check in and I told them that the reception at Hotel Madeline had already confirmed it. I was arriving very early at the CDG airport. In the end I got it after exlaining........ ( it could have been easier if communicated peoperly)
