As we had transfered in a mini van directions were not an issue. The staff upon arrival were helpful and freindly.

I would only say that the property is in an exceptional location. It should be one of the main reasons this is an excellent hotel.

Very easy check out and we were able to leave our luggage until late afternoon at no charge. That made it possible to enjoy Paris for every minute we could.

The air conditioning was first class. As the temperature in Paris was very hot and humid it was such a relief to get back to a nice cool air conditioned room.

We have stayed at Hotel Fertel Maillot, which is the sister hotel, many times and were very impressed with that hotel, therefore we had no hesitation in booking Hotel Fertel Etoile as it was the ideal location for this trip.

Recommend using Air France bus for this hotel. Only required to walk down Avenue Carnot away from Etoile and turn left at the T junction.
Also if arriving or leaving at peak travel times the bus is easier than getting on the metro.

Being July the weather was hot and although the room had air conditioning it was not very effective. If you left the windows open to help keep cool then the early morning traffic noise from the Grande Armee was a little intrusive.
Rooms could do with having proper stand up showers rather than hand held.

Well situated for either the nearby sites of interest ie Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe but also metro conections and connection to Disney (RER).
Hotel rooms are not enormous but adequate for the time spent actually in the room. The room did get hot when we were there in July and the air conditioning wasn't brilliant. In this day and age not having a proper stand up shower was a little odd.
Breakfast room was pleasant and served a decent continental breakfast with corn flakes and mueseli.
Many local cafes, restaurants and small local shops as well as the Champs.
