Two young ladies at the desk were exceptional, both named Anna. They helped me with directions to and from all the places we went and gave me French lessons as well. They are the reason I will return to Hotel Europe in the future.

Very nice, clean and cosy hotel with helpful staff and located just at the edge of the busy streets of the atin Quarter. Very convienent lcation one block from the Sainte Michel Metro stop.

We had a fantastic view from room 503, easily one of the best room in the hotle (beside the luxury rooms on the top floor). The neighbours were a bit loud, but cant blams the hotel on that.

A friendly, homely Hotel. The rooms are little small, but clean and well equipped. PERFECT location for seeing the city. Nice restaurant.

Property was very nice and centrally located in the heart of the LAtin Quarter.

Loved the location, close to everything (metro, Louvre, Notre Dame)for a few days in Paris. Hotel was charming and although accomodations were small, it was quiet and comforting. I would stay there again.

The receptionist was polite and spoke in French and then in English to make sure that we understood what was said. There was a little cat in a basket on the reception desk and for us this was a nice homely touch.

The walls in the hotel were very thin and we could hear every word our neighbours said and in fact everything they did and I mean everything!!
We are used to having tea and coffee facilities in hotel rooms and we were disappointed that they were not provided. It would be a nice touch, particularly if you are not a good sleeper.
On the morning after we arrived we went down to breakfast 15 minutes before the breakfast session finished and there was hardly any food left and we were not offered any more. I felt that the staff could have been more accommodating.

The staff organised a taxi for us to go to the airport and it was on time and clean and reasonable. The receptionist wished us a good journey.

It was a good basic hotel in a very good and convenient area. I would stay there again.

We actually arrived very early 9:30am on our arrival date after an extremely early chunnel trip and was immediately shown to our room!!!! Which was way beyond our expectations. Needless to say we were delighted!!!!

We booked the triple room. It was beautiful, spacious and clean and charming. Far above our expectations. The beds were especially comfortable. We did not want to leave!!!

Cannot say enough about the staff of the hotel. Extremely gracious. Allowed us to store our luggage there before our late night train trip.

We feel the hotel rates higher than a two star. The beds and space of the rooms alone as well as the attention to detail as far as interior design. We were most impressed though with the helpfulness of the staff.

Rooms are very small by American hotel standards but typical for Paris. They were clean and in good repair. Although this is a neighborhood with lots of street noise (many restaurants, lots of tourists and locals), the windows were tightly sealed and made the rooms quiet for sleeping.

Well located, clean and pleasant. Ideal for a short stay in Paris. Rooms with the balcony on 5th floor are extremely pleasant for sitting outside in the early morning and late afternoon.

Our room smelt very smoky when we arrived and this only got better after a couple of days of us having the window open.
The en suite shower, loo and wash basin was very clean but still suffered from a nasty drainy smell.

It was early morning. I had pre booked the
room for the 17th knowing that I was to
arrive early on the 18th, and I wanted the
room available immediately, which I had
communicated in my booking. The desk person
was not aware of this and in fact was upset
that I had not arrived on the 17th. I was
given a key and pointed towards the lift
whilst he continued his telephone
conversaton. No other check in formalities
were done until I came back down a couple of
hours later.

I received a very good rate. My friend who
booked an identical room directly with the
hotel over the internet had to pay an extra
10 euro per night.

We were asked if we wanted a taxi and when
it came it was not in fact a taxi but a 'VIP
car service '. I do not mind this, but would
have expected the hotel to 1. tell us this
was what we were getting, and 2. notify us
of the price, and 3. ask if this was OK. It
was not a particularly good or comfortable
vehicle and his wife was sitting in the
front seat. Disappointing.

The bar/breakfst room very uninviting, but
plenty of great places to eat in the area.

Small but clean and comfortable room. Value
for money at 80 euro

The room was slightly smaller then pictured and the noise level btween the rooms was high a times, for the price I paid it was a good deal. I would have upgraded to a big room but it was clean, very close to the Metro and bus line. It was a lively location and cafes, bar and resturants were always open. I was traveling with my daughter who is 15 and I felt safe out at night. I would stay there again.

The pictures on the web gave you to idea that the room was bigger then it was. By time we unpacked there was little room for two people to relax or at times move from one side of the room to the other. The suitcases took up all the empty space there was.

I would be clear that this is in the'heart of the Latin Quater' and can be loud at times. The windows did provide some sound proofing from the street but after the bars close you can hear lots of noise.

If you a looking for a large, relaxing, quite room to come back to after a day of seeing Paris, this is not the hotel for you. But, if you want a clean, close to Metor's,cafe's, that is centraly located this is a real bargin for the price.

Air Conditioning was stated to be available and it was not. The heat drove us out of our first room as it was located on top floor under the roof. We boiled the first night but the staff was friendly about changing the room to another quite good room (but again with no a/c).

I would recommend the hotel as we were satisfied overall.

Under construction/updating, so not nearly as nice as web site - our room was 'OK'
