Commentaires des Hôtes

The rooms were exceptionally clean. A nice little touch was when the staff placed fresh flowers in the room for us. ... In a fabulous neighborhood - on a quiet street, yet only two blocks to Luxembourg Gardens. Great little shops, cafes, and restaurants only steps away. In addition, the Metro and RER stops are all only a couple of blocks away, making getting around by subway amazingly simple! And, the rooms and bathrooms were more spacious than many other Paris hotels I have stayed in.

very helpful staff and an easy check in process made it straightforward and uncomplicated to get to our room as quickly and easily as possible. ... As simple as check-in, and again the staff were fantastic. ... A modern but traditional hotel set on a quiet street just off the bustling blvd du Montparnasse, with good facilities, friendly and helpful staff, and easy access to any of the major sites in paris via the adjacent Metro station.

Knowledge and enthusiasm of staff was patchy; some very good, some very bad. One had to pick the person to ask for help. ... A generally nice experience: quiet location, nice room (although small) and small, intimate hotel. The only let down was some of the staff who didn't want to help at all, and who, when pressed, didn't know how to help.

Overall Hotel Danemarkt was a good plce to stay. The were apparently overbooked so we had to stay the 1-ste nite in another hotel (appropriate), not a nice experience upon arrival. The rest of out stay was good we stayed in rooms 1 and 4 and were very comfortable and quiet. The area in which Hotel D is located is superb. Very Parisian and within 5 minutes of parc Luxembourg. The place to jog and look at te beau monde. ... Let them be more positive about the area. Very attractive for tourists ... Go there

The only improvement I can suggest is to replace the mattress.

The proximity of the metro station and you could make more of the proximity of jardin de luxembourg and how easy it is to walk to st germain etc... ... A lovely hotel, fantastically situated for exploring the south bank area.

The receptionist told us that the room they had intended for us wouldn't be available till 7PM or so but that they had another room for us at mid-afternoon. We took the one available being desperate for a room after the flight from the US - they said it was not quite as good but we found it fine. ... We were very pleased with the room - very comfortable bed, great bathroom, attractively furnished. We also really liked the neighborhood and the street - and location was our biggest criterion in Paris. ... Very good Paris hotel, not inexpensive but good value for money, very comfortable bed and great bathroom, great location if you like being on the Left Bank (which we really do). Especially nice to be so near the Luxembourg Gardens, and on a quiet street but in a very lively neighborhood.

room was small. Bathroom was good, but room was hot, with no ventilation. With the windows open, the room was very noisy from street noise. ... Okay for spring, winter, fall. Summer, too hot.

I was expecting an upgraded room but was told that their was only one type of room that fits twin beds. Therefore I would like to know what I paid the upgrade fee for if there was only one room of this type anyway. ... The room was not very clean and was nowhere near as spacious as it looked on the website. ... We were told we had already paid, when we returned to pick our bags up a different member of staff told us we had not. Very confusing. ... The location is fairy good - metro is very near and the neighbourhood is nice but not as close to Saint Germaine du Pres as I expected. Is OK for the money providing you are not going to spend much time in your room.

When we arrived, we were informed that the room we reserved with TWO beds was not available and that we would have to stay in a room with ONE bed for the night and 'perhaps' we would have a room with two beds for the rest of our stay. After expressing our desire to stay at another hotel, only then were we offered the room we requested. ... No Air Conditioning though. ... Breakfast is overpriced. ... Very small, boutique hotel in a nice section of Paris.

There was no additional child bed. They delivered it later. ... Staffperson at check-out was disorganized and did not know the process! ... Great location. Decent hotel.

On their home page they said the rooms had air conditioning. It had - but ours didn't work with the result that we had to sleep with either the windows closed, and be insanely warm during night. Or, open the windows and not being able to sleep because of the busy street. We told the the arriving dag, a friday, and they said they would forward it to 'the mananger'. Nothing happened friday, nothing happened saturday. We reminded them again. Still nothing. By the time of check out, on sunday, they simply refused to compensate us economically, not much, but it would have been a nice gesture. We were not happy customers. ... Overrated. Don't go there.
