Velux window in roof needed cleaning.
Cleaning lady walked in without knocking.
No tea/coffee making facilities in room.
Could not get safe to operate.
Disapointingly - Internet access not free.

Otherwise excellent, quite, clean, comfy bed and friendly staff.

In the immediate vicinity there is a great selection of oriental restaurants, a cinema complex and Les Jardins du Luxembourg.

Affordable, well-located, spotless, friendly, chique.

My husband and I love this hotel. The location is great, nearby major tourist spots and nice neiborhood with a lot of decent cafes and shopps around. The hotel is very charming everywhere from the lobby, the bar, the place for breakfast and the room we stayed. The breakfast was delicious and they even offered 24-hour bar for drinks. Good to have a sip or lay down in the sofa reading in the lobby when returning late after spending a long day outside. In addition, the fireplace in the lobby made the amtomsphere warm and as cosy as home. The staff is also very nice and helpful.

Everything is perfect. If you want me to be very very picky, I will say the thing about internet connection. As a matter of fact, we were happy that the hotel offers internect connection. However, we can not dial up from our room but had to go to the hotel workstation with our notebook not allowed. As we were checking emails for our work and needed to download emails to our own notebook, we had to go to internet cafe outside. Good news is there is an internet cafe very close to the hotel, probably one-minute walking distance.

Therefore, I will say my husband and I are extremely happy to stay at this hotel and we are glad we disregarded some users' noises/ comments from other websites regarding this hotel, as we feel this hotel is great and definitely will recommend our friends to choose this hotel when visiting Paris.

My husband and I love this hotel. The location is great, nearby major tourist spots and nice neiborhood with a lot of decent cafes and shopps around. The hotel is very charming everywhere from the lobby, the bar, the place for breakfast and the room we stayed. The room is just in right size, not big but very cosy, with deco in French touch. The restroom is cute with beautiful tiles on the floor.

I have already recommended to my friends. I took about 30 pictures in the hotel. All of my friends fall in love with this boutique hotel once seeing the photos. If possible, I would like to visit Paris again in much warm weather and stay at this hotel so that I can have the breakfast in the lovely garden.

Jenny

Gregory on the reception was wonderful, he assisted me on a number of occasions, not just within the hotel but also recommendations for things to do/see in the area etc.
...
The only slight problem I had was with the noise between rooms, people entering and leaving their room etc.
...
Very efficient, excellent hotels recommended and was as stated in the descriptions which is very important - no nasty surprises when you arrive at the hotel!!
...
Conveniently situated in a Street full of quaint restaurants, many of them Japanese. A very cosy, romantic, tastefully renovated hotel with employees who exceed your expectations, I will definitely stay there on my next visit to Paris.

Question 1. I already knew where the hotel was.

although I knew this, the check in time is, I think, too late.
...
there was enough light in the room but there wasnt a reading lamp which could focus light on the book being read.
And the bathroom was really quite large with lots of light.
I liked the individual heating control in the room.
...
I checked out very early in the morning and I appreciated the telephone call from the desk.
...
an excellent location in the latin quarter.
I had a classic room, perhaps a bit expensive but, on the whole, quite a nice room. and the staff were quite helpful.

Wonderful hotel - will go back when I go back to Paris. Great location, beautiful but small rooms (would ask again for a room on the top floor - quiet), and great service.

The air conditioning could have been better, the room was very hot during the night.

The receptionist went to extra trouble to find adjoining rooms for myself and my 12 yearold grandson - for which I was very grateful. He was a nice man.

An above-average 3-star Parisian hotel. Like all similar hotels it is very small but it is extremely clean and comfortable. It is in a very good position on the Left Bank - handy for shopping and the peaceful Jardins de Luxumbourg. I would stay there again.

Very helpful. The young woman at the front helped with our baggage and made us feel right at home.

This hotel is a gem. The rooms are small by American standards, but certainly adequate. The air conditioning came in handy. We had asked for two rooms - one for my wife and myself; the other for our 15-year old son. We got two adjoining rooms on a floor with a total of 4 rooms. With the exception of one day when we saw someone else going into another room, we had the floor to ourselves. We lett the doors to our rooms open and just went between them as we desired. It was great. The beds are also good (this is important since on previous trips to Paris I found that the mattresses in certain hotels left something to be desired). The reception desk was very helpful, especially in arranging pick up at the airport and transportation back to the airport.
...
The price is a little high, but that's because (a) it's Paris and (b) the dollar is weak. The hotel is still a good value.
...
The street is relatively quiet. There are a lot of Japanese restaurants on it. You are one block away from the Blvd. St. Michel which is a busy thoroughfare. If you walk straight down Monsieur Le Prince it's just a five minute walk to St. Germain De Pres. There is a bar next to the hotel, but we were there during some of the World Cup games and it was a lot of fun to see everyone so excited. By the way, the windows have very good soundproofing so all the cheering at the bar could not be heard unless you wanted to open up the windows.
...
I would tell a friend that it is a good hotel in a good location staffed by nice people. I would highly recommend it.

At our arrival, Juliette was extremely
helpful. She made food suggestions, gave
directions, and made dinner reservations for
us. She knew the area and was an excellent
intorduction to the hotel. Sadly, her other
colleagues at the desk were much less
helpful. The late afternoon/evening man was
not nearly as informed about the area. This
was especially frustrating as we were tryng
to get to a restaurant in the 14th and he was
not much help on that front.
...
The room was smaller than expected and would
have been ideal for one person. The towel
warmer and the mini bar/fridge didn't work.
There was no place to put our clothes except
on two tiny shelves in the closet. The closet
was not traditional - so shallow that it had
8 permanent hangers so the clothes faced out
(like in an airplance cabin). There was
little room for the luggage - the fridge
could have been removed for extra space.
Overall, the space was simply too small for
two people for an extended stay.
...
The internet access in the lobby is now free.
...
A fine hotel that frankly is not worth the
money - given the size of the rooms, the front
of house service/knowledge and the slightly
remote location. It is on a commercial block
and a good two-three blocks from the more
appealing St Germain district.
