It was like beeing 'home' - just better because you don't have to clean and make breakfast. Put on runningshooes and run from the hotel down to Concorde Square through the Tuillerier garden or run over the bridge to Luxembourg garden. It is a perfect way to start a day in Paris.

Very helpful. We arrived early and they allowed us to store our luggage until our room was ready.

Wonderful hotel, rooms and staff... location could not be beat. We would recommend to anyone traveling to Paris and would love to come back again ourselves. We do wish that the rooms would have all had wireless internet available.

Hotel Britannique boasts both a splendid location and excellent staff. As a frequesnt visitor to Paris and France I have rarely recieved such a warm, professional and curteous welcome. YOu get the impression that nothing is too much trouble for the staff, all of whom were first class.

The property was easy to find and the staff were all very polite. Although the room was not ready when we arrived, we were given a detailed map to a restaurant and were able to stow our luggage in a closet while we were out. Upon our return, the room was ready and very clean.

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in Paris within this price range. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, our room was extremely quiet and the breakfast buffet was better than we expected. Also, the hotel is conveniently located and we were able to get everywhere we wanted to go on foot or via Metro.

I would really emphasize how quiet the street is, and how close you are to the metro stop. We never counted the steps, but I can't think of any place I have ever stayed that was this close to a major public transportation hub.

This was by far the best hotel experience I've ever had in Paris. The Hotel Britannique delivers on all levels--cleanliness, location, price, charm, service. I would highly recommend the hotel, and my husband and I will definitely stay there again the next time we visit Paris. Hotel Britannique is an excellent value for the money and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. You couldn't ask for a better location in Paris--we were steps away from a major metro stop, and Notre Dame and the Latin Quarter were just a short walk from the hotel.

Excellent small hotel. Well situated on a quiet street and only steps away from the metro and a choice of excellent cafes and restaurants. Easy walking distance to the Louvre, Notre Dame and much more. If your time in Paris is limited this hotel's location will enable you to make the most of your stay. Spotlessly clean rooms were always fresh and tidy when we returned from our day's excursions. A conversion plug in the bathroom accepts North American razors and battery chargers so no need to pack adapting plugs. Beds were very comfortable. The ground floor lounge is attractive and comfortable as well. Staff were very helpful. I would not hesitate to book here again in the future. The Britannique met our expectations in all respects.

The hotel was exactly as described the staff always polite and helpful, especially on reception. Rooms were a little on the small side but kept immaculately clean each day. This was our first stay at the Britannique the location is excellent. Without hesitation we would certainly stay at this hotel again.

Arrived mid-morning and room was not available yet (due to arrival time we expected room might not be ready, but was worth checking) Hotel had a secure place to store luggage until room was available allowing us to grab lunch and wander about until room was ready. Room was ready at stated time when we returned.

Very quite street, but still in center of city. Street is one way reducing traffic. Metro entrance across the street and a block away. Windows are doubled pane and shut out most of the noise. Black out blinds made it very easy to sleep in.

The reception was pleasant and after a day of travel it was nice to have a friendly face to smile at me and talk to me.

The staff recommended I leave for the airport approximately 2 hours ahead of time. They called the taxi and the timing was perfect. It allowed me time to check in at the airline counter and then have a bite to eat before leaving.

The staff was courteous and polite. Since I do not speak French, they made every effort to direct me to my destination, They were accommodating with my requests, secured taxis for me and offered suggestions about restaurants, shopping, museums and tours. The hotel sitting room is lovely, comfortable and a nice place to relax and read in the evening. My room was cleaned each day after I left. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris, although I would recommend a larger room or a small suite if you are staying any length of time. My room was facing the street which I also enjoyed.

We had asked for a bath-tub and arrived early to leave our bags. But when returning that night they had not reserved this room for us and all that was available was a room with a shower. The next night we exchanged rooms
