The rooms were very small and unattractive. The noise in the area was almost unbearable. I understand that the price was extremely reasonable, but with no air conditioning, you had to leave the windows open, and with the outside noise, we were unable to sleep.

Ensuite bathroom was nice, but simply adding a shower curtain and wall hook would vastly improve the quality of the half-bath facilities available in the room we had.

Had to wait about 5 minutes for someone to show up at the desk to check us out but this was due to the time of day. It was wonderful to have a noon checkout time so we didn't mind waiting at all!

The hotel is clean with very pleasant staff. The breakfast area and garden are lovely. Plus a noon check out time is a much appreciated luxury. The room we had was small, but given the high price of places so well located in Paris, I would still say it is good value for the money.

Although there was a large amount of work being done in the lobby of the hotel, the staff were very accomodating. Elevator was being overhauled when I checked in, but was up and running by the following day.

Room was small and simple, which is all that I was expecting. Room was kept nice and tidy. The only drawback - room smelled of cigarette smoke. After opening the windows and letting it air out, everything was okay, though.

Great location - almost equal distance from both the Place de Clichy and Rome Metro stops. The local area around the hotel is chock full of different dining options, and only a short distance from lots of bars and the nightlife of Pigalle. Very close to Sacre Couer, Cimetiere Montemartre, and the wonderful shops and storefronts on Butte Montmartre.

Simple, no-frills accomodation. Friendly staff. If you're looking for all the frills of a luxury hotel, this isn't it. But if you are looking for a place to stay that is in the heart of an active and vibrant part of Paris (and within easy access of the Metro), it's a wonderful bargain.

The only problem was that soaps were not left every day. No tea/cofee facilities though it was said that they have a kitchen to make tea/coffee.

The rooms seemed bigger in the website but we weren't too fussed in the end as the place was really just a place to sleep. The housekeepers did a good job (changing towels, thoroughly cleaned bathroom & making the bed), the breakfast was good for the price & the receptionists were quite helpful. Free use of the internet came handy too. Only negative is that the bed cover looked dirty (I'm sure it's not but it just need because of the color).

Price of the breakfast - really good for 6 euros compared to cafes which charge at least 10 euros for the same deal. Street-facing rooms vs. garden-facing room - garden-facing rooms are dearer but they are quieter. We were in a street-facing room which was fine mostly except Saturday night when drunks were about, creating noise.

Nothing flash but clean rooms, good housekeeping, & friendly, English-speaking staff. Breakfast is value for money too. The area is not the best though but maybe that's why the rate is cheaper. We felt safe though.

I booked the hotel using American Express and
the hotel stopped taking American Express
after I arrived. Checking out was difficult
and stressful because I was not aware that I
had to pay using a different card.

The clerk on duty when we arrived was generally disinterested. However, all clerks after that were very polite, helpful, and cooperative.

Our train got to Paris a bit early but we were allowed to check in before the stated time. We were very thankful about that.

We had two inconvenients: one of the rooms had serious problems with the key (our friends were locked up in their room!) and the problem was not solved during the time we were there. Besides, we did not have hot water the first day. Although this problem WAS solved the next day, it was certainly a nuisance to take a cold shower in mid-september!

I am not very sure it is on the webpage or not, but having unlimited internet access is certainly a plus!

A nice, affordable, small hotel located close to a Metro station in Central Paris. It is easily accessible to all of the major sights. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and there is a beautiful courtyard where breakfast is served every morning.

Not good value because I took 2 rooms for 3 people, I should have stayed somewhere else and took 1 room for 3 people even if I had to put an extra bed. But f you are just using the hotel as a shelter to sleep for 8 hours and to take shower, then 55 Euro is OK. Location was not too bad. is OK.
