It's a nice way for visitors unfamiliar with London to investigate all the options for accomodations.

When I arrived, much later than I expected, I walked in and was greeted by name before I had even reached the desk. After traveling for nearly eight long hours, I can't tell you how at home and special that made me feel.

I loved my little room -- lovely view, friendly hosts, comfortable room, great location. I'd absolutely stay there again.

The rooms are fairly close to one another and radiate off a small hallway. This made the room a wee bit noisy, but certainly not any worse than some national chains I've stayed at.
Also: despite an elevator, there are some stairs to get to some floors, which was a little tricky with bulky luggage.
There was a lovely little balcony overlooking the sweetest park. Very nice!

It's a fantastic way to book a room, especially with the time delay between London and the States -- no phone tag, everythng in writing.

Charming hotel with the feel of a B&B with a lovely little room, a wonderful view, terrific location, and friendly staff.

My room smelled like cigarette smoke, and the cigarette smoke from the hallway and other rooms could seep under my door into my room. The plastic plants were dusty (get rid of them), the bedspreads a bit seedy, (they could be replaced quite inexpensively)and no one vacuumed the edges of the room or the hallway. Otherewise it was very clean, neat and quiet.There's a lift, but there were 3-4 steps into the hotel and down from the lift to access the rooms. The breakfast room was outstanding, and the breakfast was solid. One-half block from the Picadilly line, so easy access from Heathrow and to 'downtown.'

Small, friendly 3* hotel. If it was non-smoking I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. It's too small a hotel to allow smoking, but that's probably true for most to all London hotels. No smoking was allowed in the breakfast room, so that was a big plus.

It is winter and the rooms were in the basement of the hotel. I froze every night because of the terrible drafts and they turned the heat off during the night. Maybe it is better in the summer.

The hotel was quaint, clean and the staff was very obliging. But, negative-- extremely cold at night in the winter. You could actually feel the wind coming in through the 'patio' door/windows and the bed was about two feet away from it.. I would stay again in the warm months of the year.

It was located close to the tube station, post office, markets, and a wonderful pub.

The managers of the hotel were very cordial and efficient. Check-in was very easy and took no time at all - which was much appreciated after our long flights I came in from Boston, my friend Marc had it much worse - coming in from Bangalore! Naturally, we were both quite tired, and it was rather a hassle lugging our bags through the Underground from the airport - a very hot day too - thus it was very nice to check in quickly and be able to settle in right away.

I was surprised by the size of the room, but I'm sort of used to 'oversized' American hotel rooms. It was perfectly fine, but the room was a little small for two people. It was a challenge, for example, to get our clothes stored away (two people with 10 days worth of clothing, and a rather small closet to share). However, from what I understand, this size room is pretty standard in Europe and was perfectly comfortable once we became accustomed to it. It was perfectly clean, and quite private. The cleaning crew were always very discrete and allowed us time to get up and moving in the mornings.

We needed to leave at the crack of dawn on Saturday morning, and the staff were very good about letting us settle the bill the evening before. They were very accomodating all around, and made everything very simple.

Small, but comfortable, at a very reasonable price. I particularly liked the Earl's Court neighborhood - it was very diverse, with every kind of person under the sun, which I enjoyed very much. There were a variety of quite excellent small restaurants in the area, with every sort of cuisine imaginable - and prices were very reasonable. The neighbourhood was very safe and friendly. I enjoyed my stay there very much and would stay there again.
