Just two suggestions: Providing a computer with internet access on the lobby level as a complimentary amenity would be most appreciated and would help the Cranley stay competitive in the market. Also it would be helpful to alter or lengthen the cocktail hour. At 7pm, we and other guests I overheard couldn't participate because it conflicts with any theatre plans. ... Very professional ... Some discreet sign should be near the open bar items stating there is a charge and that only the whiskey and sherry are complimentary. Also, one staff member refused to give a second glass of champagne unless we paid for it. The others were very accomodating.
Also we stayed in the below ground level rooms and it was very nice. However, foot traffic above early in the morning and late at night was a bit disconcerting.
All in all we would definitely return. Lovely place and convenient to very nice restaurants. ... Very professional again. Only took a matter of minutes and our car to Heathrow was right on time as they promised. ... It should be made very clear that the open bar in the reception area has a charge and that only the whiskey and sherry is complimentary. ...
